    Brilliant Fermenter
    Review by Graemeon 30/10/2017
Love these fermenters they are well constructed and solid, the neck is wide enough to get your arm in to clean them, great for beer or wine.

    Great Seal
    Review by Zacon 21/10/2016
I purchased this fermenter as the standard bucket fermenter I had didn't create a good enough seal, this holds in all the c02 and allows me to better judge the progress of my beer by monitoring the airlock.

I am so pleased with this I have since bought another.

    Excellent product
    Review by copsewoodon 19/06/2016
I make wine, beer and cider in these and consider them essential equipment. Light and strong, so easy to lift, and easy to clean. For some pulp-based ferments for the first couple of weeks, a fermenting bin with a wide lid is preferred, as this allows vigorous twice daily stirring to prevent mould growth. But for most other purposes, especially when you need to keep fermentation anaerobic (keep the air out) and for bulk stabilisation of wine which can take months, these fermenters are preferable, unless you can be bothered to rack out to multiple demijohns, which I sometimes do for very fine wines to limit headspace.

    Everything you would expect/need
    Review by Jackon 27/04/2016
What more to say... good quality, tall and thin so it takes up less space and less surface area when looking to rack to secondary for a while, brilliant strong handles each side to lift (easily removed to clean) markings on the side in Litres and Gals.
    Thumbs up!

    Great for wine or beer
    Review by Graemeon 09/03/2016
I now have two of these fermentors and they are excellent for both beer and wine, they are well made and strong, easy to move when full thanks to the sturdy handles and cleaning is easy thanks to the wine opening at the top.

    Ideal for wine or beer
    Review by Philon 29/10/2015
Fermenting a Chardonnay in this vessel at the moment. Very well made and a nice size with two handles which is far better for moving around than a bucket. Would recommend for wine or beer. I've bought another one because it has a narrow neck and less likely to have spillage for my beer making. Remember to buy a fermenting lock and bung!

    Good Brewing Equipment
    Review by Johnon 09/10/2015
I make 5 Gallon all grain beers, this fermenter gives enough clearance above the wort for the bubbles to subside during the first few days of fermentation avoiding messy blow outs. This is my 2nd one, it's more substantial and has a smooth easy clean interior.

Good for secondary fermentation or clearing
    Review by Johnon 18/11/2013
Useful for secondary fermentation, when the yeast head has subsided and a tighter seal is needed. I use a piece of polythene over the neck secured with a rubber band to keep air out. CO2 can escape too.
Would be perfect if 5 galls came to narrow part of neck, but that's just being picky!

    Great peice of kit.
    Review by Markon 20/10/2013
Used this for my first cider brew and worked a treat. Will now try out a batch of beer in it to see how well it works as it is taller and thinner than my usual fermenting bucket.

Thanks again for the excellent delivery and service.

    Excellent for Beer
    Review by Silversaxmanon 31/01/2010
I bought this, along with an airlock for brewing beer. It is excellent. The shape is lesss bulky than traditional barrels, and by use of airlock you can monitor the fermentation process without having to expose the brew to the air outside. That is a good thing in my book! It is a closed way of brewing. Also, I did not have the scum at the top that you get with the barrels and have to remove now and again.
