    Great fermenter
    Review by Davidon 01/03/2016
Now have three of these for beer and wine, prefer these to the traditional buckets due to secure lid, better space, particularly as I can be leaving these to ferment whilst being away with work for couple of weeks at a time

    Does The Job
    Review by Jameson 03/07/2013
The Fermentation unit is completely waterproof including at the tap even though i forgot to add the jelly. As mentioned above you will lose about 3 litres of your brew but the kits im useing are about £10 for 22 litres im not really bothered about that last bit so throw it away. could be done with being drilled about 2 inches lower sedement doesnt settle that high.

Dead Space at the bottom ruins the purpose
    Review by Matton 29/06/2012
Great in theory, rack your near enough complete brew into this to let it clear a bit more then bottle straight from this without disturbing any new sediment that will be at the bottom..

    HOWEVER!!!!!!!

In reality the hole is drilled about 2" above the base and therefore the outlet will leave about 3L of your brew in the bottom without tilting it VERY heavily which is not ideal as you have to have one hand to hold it and then bottling is tricky or syphoning which this is supposed to stop.

I'd avoid this one and make your own, or figure a way of adapting the outlet to pick up from closer to the bottom of the vessel.
