    Great festive brew
    Review by Stuarton 29/12/2017
This is the first beer I made with my new Grainfather and SS brewbucket combo. It turned out even better than I could have hoped for, serving from a corny leg, it pours well, slowly settles out and tastes of chocolate and subtle spice. Haven't found anyone yet who has tried it who didn't really liked it. Most of it has gone over the holidays. I'll definitely use this again, and likely base some modified recipes off the malt and hop mix as it is a real winner.

    Lovely Festive Brew
    Review by Johnon 16/11/2016
This is the second time I've made this brew, it's lovely. I made it in September which gave me plenty of time to ferment right out. Orange and Anise flavours very good. We're giving this to friends instead of Christmas cards.

    Superb recipe
    Review by Chris Carron 07/11/2016
Our first WTH Brew was brewed in time for Christmas 2015, and I have to say that to this day it was one of the finest brews I have ever tasted. So this year we have decided to brew another batch which is currently bubbling away, assuming we can reproduce what we did last year then we may even brew an additional batch! Just a stunning ale

Can't wait for this to condition!
    Review by Robon 14/06/2016
Just bottled my brew and had a quick taste (as you do). I added extra cloves - Christmasy and not included - and it tastes great. My strategy is to try a few in the next month or so and go for more for next winter. Once again Brew UK's all grain kits hit the spot. Everything you need, clear instructions and so easy on the day.

Good brew for the festive period!
    Review by Glynon 14/06/2016
I made this in August last year and left to mature until Christmas.
It's a strong, full bodied dark ale with light sherry notes. The subtle sweet spice/citrus after taste is very pleasant and blends in well with the hops.
This was a hit with everyone who tried it and I'll certainly be brewing it again next month ready for the festivities as this just gets better and better the longer you leave it.

    Lovely Festive Beer
    Review by Shaunon 22/01/2016
Great Malt Base, nice alcohol warmth and now 7 weeks after bottling the spices have all mellowed to become a lightly spiced beer which I and my friends absolutely love. I will definitely brew this again next year, as it's improved the whole way through January!

    Top Marks
    Review by Johnon 09/12/2015
Wow what a festive beer, it tested fabulous at bottling, great colour, the mixed aroma of orange, anise and cinnamon just smells of Christmas. Makes a lovely early present. Suggest brewing in early October next time. 10/10
