    Good, solid yeast
    Review by Craigon 15/02/2017
As others have said, nice and clean and great for letting the hops show off. Fermented low to mid 20s.

    Clean

Ferments nice and clean with little added flavour if fermented at 18C. Great for Westcoast IPAs, lets the hops shine through!

    Excellent
    Review by Matthew on 29/02/2016
As usual, top class yeast delivered by top class suppliers!

This is the most flexible yeast strain I have used. Great for American IPA's as the hop flavour is accentuated, with a very crisp and dry finish.

    Excellent Fermentation and Taste

Excellent fermentation and rapid start, beer has a excellent taste profile

    Vigorous fermentation
    Review by Martinon 15/05/2014
Can't fault this. It produced a very vigorous, quick starting fermentation in a premium IPA. The krausen was unusually thick and creamy, making it easy to skim off and harvest. I've now got a jam jar full of slurry which I'll try to reuse in a future batch. Attenuated from 1.054 down to 1.011. Taste-wise, very clean as other reviewers have said. Only question is whether it's really £4 better than a sachet of US-05 - depends on your priorities and budget, I guess.

    Excellent Yeast
    Review by Karlon 23/04/2014
Brilliant easy to use yeast, I only brewed a single gallon batch with this and have kept the rest for long term storage, well worth the few extra £.

Takes a little longer to get going than say US04, i generally give it a little helping hand by raising the temperature to 19oC + over the first night of fermentation.

Produces a very clean flavour so it is excellent for APA or heavy hopped beers.

High Quality Liquid Yeast right to your door
    Review by Jodeon 31/12/2013
The yeast is ready to use, great condition and a good shelf life.
While the yeast is good, the service was excellent! Brew.co.uk got the cultures to us in Oslo, Norway with no trouble, will certainly be using them in our future endeavours
    Cheers!

If it's not fermenting then I don't know whats going on in there!

All looks as it should do, if it doesn't taste as it should do I'll report back!

    Good clean yeast
    Review by Robinon 08/12/2012
I have used this yeast in both an English ale and a clone of brew dogs punk ipa. Its a slow starter, taking a few days to fully kick off but reliable. It forms what I find quite a sticky head and doesn't smell great. The ale was OK but lacking a bit of character however the IPA was excellent. Very clean flavor letting all the strong hop flavors to come through.

In all a good yeast but would recommend for cleaner beers and not so much for English bitters where you want a bit more yeasty character, I would recommend white labs English ale for that.
