    Simple!
    Review by Brynmoron 30/10/2016
Perfectly simple, what more could you want? As a novice i bought this over the cheaper option and i cant complain, ive just capped my first 40 bottles in about 15 mins without a single issue. Seems to be robustly built, good lever action and crimps the caps in lovely. Hopefully this will last me for many many more brews.

    Good Overall
    Review by Williamon 19/09/2016
Sturdy, won't break, does what it should. The only small moan is that sometimes the metal collars that lock and slide along the bottle neck can catch the edges of the caps when trying to take the capper back off. It's not a big issue if careful but sometimes it's worth pressing the caps edged manually with a hard objected to make sure they are firmly wrapped round.

    Simple and easy to use
    Review by Muddyon 01/09/2015
I bought this to replace my broken table top capper (which was twice as expensive) and would certainly recommend the Emily Bottle Capper over that for both value and easy of use.

I bottled up nearly 60 330ml bottles and only missed on 1 bottle. All credit to the the bottle capper and not me.

Great value for money and very well made

I used this for the first time today, it was very quick and reliable. The only bad point as already stated they dont work on hobgoblin bottles

    Very good

Really like this - capped my bottles in no time and very few 'misses'. Simple and quick. Like the magnetic cap holder and the design makes it easy to place flat and accurately onto the bottle.

    Excellent tool
    Review by Johnon 04/03/2013
This capper is the dog's danglies as far as I'm concerned. The only bottles I've found it won't do is wychwood bottles (e.g. hobgoblin). I've found a slow steady pressure works best, the quicker you go the more miscaps you get. I typically only get 1 or 2 miscaps per 40+ bottle batch. And unlike the review for the countertop capper, I've never broken the neck of a bottle. I only use it on proper beer bottles, never tried it for lager-types. I've bottled 5 batches of beer with it, and never had a single bottle lose pressure or get damaged.

Easy to use - reliable results so far
    Review by Jimblyon 09/04/2012
I haven't actually used it - my 11 year old daughter does the capping part of the bottling process, but she managed 40 bottles in under 10 mins with only one misfire. Nice piece of kit. Would have given 5 stars for a slightly more solid feel, but I am sure this is up to the job anyway.

Would not be without this, securely attaches caps onto beer bottles. Don't use on a slippery surface. Best if someone else holds the bottles.
