    Great light pint
    Review by Kevinon 09/06/2017
First time I've done this brew, another great kit. I was looking for a light summer brew, which was easy to drink and this doesn't disappoint.

It's very light in flavour, light on the hops. I slightly chilled before serving. Good colour and nice head that stays to the end. Very easy to drink, too easy, as I was at the bottom of my glass before I'd realised.

Forgot how good this is - I'lll buy some more!
    Review by Paulon 23/04/2017
I haven' t done this one in a little while but it is a real easy drinker. Just enough Citra to give it that refreshing bite but not heavily buttered.
    Will become a firm favourite!

    Lovely hot weather session ale
    Review by Stuarton 23/07/2015
This was my first attempt at an extract brew and I'm very pleased with the results. Instructions were easy to follow. I held back for 4 weeks after bottling before my first taste but the beer was already very good after that short time. Delicate citrus flavours and perfectly clear. Great summer time ale.

Great summer quaffing beer…what happened to ingredients list ?
    Review by Tonyon 03/07/2015
Have done this brew before & everyone remarked how great it was ,waiting for weather to cool down a bit before doing the current kit. Would give it the full 5 stars if a detail list of ingredients was on the list rather than hop pack 1 etc,i have used the details to make up bigger quantities or play around with the grain steep on previous kits where all the ingredients & amounts are on the notes for brewing.I realise that it keeps it simple, especially for people not having scales to weigh out quantities etc but feel these details could still be shown.

    Review by Cliffyon 29/06/2015
Very easy to make summer brew which is tasty and make slide down a little too easily!!!

Delivery was good as ever and instructions clear to understand and use.

Not sure it will last the summer but a good beer.

    Cracking summer beer
    Review by Fuddled foxon 21/06/2015
Used the Nottingham yeast and fermented at 18c for 2 weeks then primed with 75g cane sugar.

After 2 weeks conditioning this beer is really good. Slightly sweet orange taste with a nice bitterness to follow. Glad I used the notty as the safale may of been a bit too sweet. Nice golden colour. I think this is the kind of drink you could serve at a BBQ cold for the lager boys and slightly warmer for the ale drinkers and both sides would be happy.
When I brew this again I might add some extra citra hops at the end as a dry hop just to slightly up the aroma.
    Very refreshing summer drink.

    Great hop taste
    Review by Philipon 19/06/2015
Lovely citrus aroma and initial taste of orange that fades to a well balanced bitterness. Used the Safale yeast which I thought may have produced an over sweet beer. Two weeks in a fermenter and the same again warm conditioning before being moved to the garage for another few weeks. Really happy with this kit and would make again in the near future. A+

    First extract brew
    Review by Jeffon 04/06/2015
This was my first step up to extract brewing and although the beer hasn't quite finished conditioning it tastes fantastic. Compared to my previous 'just add water' kits this is in another league. One week bottled and the tester I had tasted great, just hoping for a little more carbonation in the next week or so. Now the warm weather has finally arrived I'm looking forward to enjoying more of this one.

    Great summer session beer
    Review by Ianon 29/05/2015
I have brewed this beer three times.

It is a bright golden ale that is easy to drink - ideal for the warmer weather.

The first two brews I made were very smooth and well balanced with a slightly sweet after-taste. The last kit I bought was in the "Craftybrews" format and the recipe was slightly different. This has produced a brew with a pronounced hop flavour and a more bitter finish.

I shall brew this again to keep a supply throughout the summer

Would be better in summer probably
    Review by Paulon 15/04/2015
Brewed during winter and finishing last few litres at present. This is a nice light beer, perhaps a little on the sweet side for my preference but I still enjoyed it.

    A Must have!
    Review by Sabianon 30/01/2014
Love this ale, brewed this twice now. It's quick to be drinkable, highly refreshing and one which I will always want in my brew store! If I could run my own brewery this would be the ale type i'd choose. Well done Brew Uk for introducing me to this ale!!

    Review by Eddieon 21/08/2013
Just about to bottle my second one of these, the first has all but gone now and was one of the best beers i have ever had.
Done with SO4 yeast, really fruity with a slight sweetness.
I hope the second one is as good .

    A lovely summer beer
    Review by Andrewon 19/07/2013
This was my first extract brew. Very straightforward instructions, even with the additional grains to steep first. Smell of the citra hops when boiling was fantastic. The finished beer was excellent. Lovely golden colour and nice hop aroma. Took a barrel of this to a party recently and it went down a treat with all concerned.

First extract brew, will do again
    Review by Rob Mon 23/04/2013
Felt like a proper brewer boiling hops up! Nice clear instructions made this easy to follow. Just bottled this batch, had a sneaky taste and its not a million miles away from Castle Rock's Harvest Pale, which is no bad thing!

    Review by Gimleton 24/01/2013
Very, very pleased with this full-flavoured and refreshing brew. Not just for summer, this beer was a welcome restorative in the long dark days after Christmas!

Superb hop tang and crisp finish. Highly recommended.

    I used the Nottingham yeast.
