    Very nice

Lovely beer even after only 2 weeks since bottling. I expect it will taste even better with time to age. Would be great if the kit included the recipe

Came out perfectly. Surprisingly easy to make!

I had to leave a review as I saw there hadn't been any left for this product yet. I wanted to try some proper mashing on the hob as I had previously only used kit and extract recipes (with the occasional added hops/grains). I was intrigued about how well you can actually make beer the proper way just on the hob.

The final result is absolutely delicious and has kind of converted me to small-batch brews now. I think its actually more exciting than just making 5 gallon batches each time.

It was quite fiddly to handle the grains and carry out the sparging process as I only have a small sieve so I had to sort of do it in batches and absolutely ended up with mushy grains all over the kitchen. But if you use a massive sieve and handle it very carefully I thin kit would work much more easily.

The final flavour as quite fantastic - better than any porter I've had in a pub. The vanilla really adds a subtle sweetness to the flavour too.

The beer was drinkable pretty much straight after fermentation but was nicer after being in the bottle for a week or so.

I am going to try the Saison kit next and then maybe try and buy my own individual ingredients and follow some small-batch recipes.
