So, so pleased with this kit. Just fantastic tasting and, not for the first time, family and friends keep saying that it is superb. Happy, happy days.

    Very close to the original

This was my first ever homebrew, let alone all grain. After months of reading, researching and investing in some shiny kit I opted for a recipe to help the first brew day run a little smoother. The result was outstanding. I wish I could post a photo of it here. I conditioned for 4 weeks (2 warm and 2 cold) but dabbled here and there in the interim to taste the development. It is as clear as a bell, a lovely colour, aroma and fantastic taste. Really hoppy. I brought a few bottles in to share with circa 16 colleagues during AOB. They were blown away. I am now on my fourth kit and am delighted with the consistently great results; I will definitely be coming back to this one though. The Thames Valley Ale yeast (having made a starter) worked a treat also.
