    Great beer
    Review by PAULon 23/06/2017
Brewed using the grainfather and fermented in the ss brewtech 7 gal . I was a complete newbie to homebrew and this brew finished at 6.5 % abv . Looks and tastes great . Will be buying this kit again . My 10th brew so far and 100% success rate with all the kits I have purchased from brewuk .

    OMG Fabulous!!
    Review by Peter Kon 11/06/2017
So relieved that this, second attempt, has gone well. Gave in to temptation and tried it (about a week earlier than I should!!) and it is magnificent in all respects. There just aren't enough superlatives to do this powerfully hopped IPA all grain kit justice. As I type, I am beaming with pride. I just can't believe that, with the help of Brew UK & St Austell, I could ever make beer as outstanding as this.
    Happy, happy, happy days!!

    My mistake
    Review by Peter Kon 02/06/2017
First GF all grain brew and made a number of mistakes, one of which left the whole batch with an 'unusual' and 'unintended' flavour. Otherwise it was clear and bright, nice head and oodles of lovely balanced, yet smooth and creamy, hoppiness. You live and learn!!
The loss of a star is actually my fault, not the beer, so I feel a bit bad about that.
I have another more recent batch conditioning in the bottle, so will hopefully give a 5* review later this month.

    Great Cornish Beer
    Review by Philipon 29/10/2016
I tried Proper Job at the St Austell brewery during an excellent brewery tour and loved it, so when I saw this kit, I had to try it.
Brewed using the grainfather a few weeks ago and have just started drinking it. It doesn't disappoint. I can't do a taste comparison from memory so can't vouch for the flavour authenticity, but I can say it's a lovely beer and crystal clear.
    Will do this one again.

    This is the "Propper Job!"
    Review by Alexon 08/07/2016
I brewed this as my first AG in a new 20l Braueister and I used the Wyeast rather than the dried yeast. Very simple recipe to follow just had to split out the hops into the correct quantities. Had in the FV for 3 weeks and then couldn't wait any longer than 3 weeks to try it, which I could tell was too early. A further 3 weeks later and it was ready. Quality flavour pint which is very hoppy. Not compared it to the commercial version yet, but I don't think they will last that long!

    first ag attempt
    Review by s.birdon 10/06/2015
My first attenpt at all grain after making all my own equipment to be able to give me a chance of a good beer

kit comes with everything you require to make your first 23L batch, you could probably make your own version of this up if you inderstand what grains and hops to get. Although for a beginner like me this kit was perfect as all i had to worry about was getting timings and temperature correct

Instuctions were clear and to the point but if you are new to AG this can look abit daunting.
I brewed this a month ago and tried my first sip last night, this is a powerfully hopped beer, almost makes you shiver but i guess this will. mellow with time. Very happy these kits are on the market, i just need to decide what one to make next!

    Property Job all grain
    Review by Bottle Brushon 03/03/2015
Good value kit in basic packaging with one page ingredient list/basic brew notes (could be in better format with useful hints for the novices). I will be brewing this pack for Easter.

An excellent beer with strong resemblances to the original. I will be brewing this again.
    Review by Jameson 05/08/2013
I had been looking for an accurate all grain 'clone' of Proper Job for some years, many have had unnecessarily complicated grain bills and hop addition schedules. However, this authorised one is simple and extremely flavorsome. I thoroughly recommend this all grain kit if you are a fan of Proper Job, a St Austell brewery champion ale.
