    Great aroma
    Review by Graemeon 18/08/2017
My 3rd AG brew and I used water treatment (CRS) and Safale-05.

Tried a bottle only 5 days after bottling, and it's fantastic with great taste and aroma despite there being no dry hops, but you still get a balanced malty taste. If what other reviewers have said is true, I'd recommend drinking young to get the most from the hops.

    Very nice beer
    Review by Janon 10/04/2017
This was my second all grain brew and the mash went over temp. a few times, but it all worked out.
The beer is good after a week - hops are big, then matures and the malt is bigger; nice as both.

    Review by Peteron 04/07/2016
Did this last year witht the extract pack but now upgraded to the all grain version. Well rounded golden ale with the refreshing light hoppy citrus kick that hits the spot. A great beer thats simple to make.

    Different
    Review by Johnon 10/05/2016
This brew took a while to clear and become drinkable, I like it but probably wouldn't have brewed it again until I saw a previous review that suggests my water treatment might be an element to consider.

    Fresh tasting & Very Drinkable
    Review by Markon 15/03/2016
Brewed this up in my Grainfather. With no problems. Tasted good after 2 weeks in bottles. Getting better every week. I needed to adjust the mash & sparge pH due to our hard water. Already brewed a 2nd batch. Would recomend

    Review by Peteron 28/01/2016
Lovely citrus, tropical fruit, quite soft, not too bitter, the kit was really easy, i used irish moss and it cleared very well, its a golden colour with good head retention. I wish Id made more so will make this again, will try the liquid yeast maybe next time!

    Holy cow, this is awesome!
    Review by Benon 18/06/2015
Really impressed with this! Mango/tropical fruit aroma with a good body and not too dry finish. I must admit I did dry hop this without doing as per the instructions but it's so fantastic to drink in a very short timescale. My dates were; Brewed on 22 May. Fermentation finished (!) and dry hopped on 28 May with 40g Citra and 45g Cascade pellets (from BrewUK). Removed dry hop 2 June. Cold crash for 2 days bottling 4 June. Tasted today, 18 June and it's fantastic! Better than the other websites as the instructions actually tell you what grains (and weight) and hops used (and weight). I could therefore (i) learn, as new to all grain and (ii) work out my efficiency! Highly recommend the kit and BrewUK. (I'm not affiliated with them in any way, just found them the best over the last 2 years!) :-)

    Amazing APA
    Review by Darylon 03/06/2015
This is the first all grain brew i've done solo and i'm really pleased with it. Not a good "home brew"...just a good brew!

If you like the American style pale ales this is great.

I did tweak it with 40g of citra dry hopping which has given it great aroma.

    Very good
    Review by paulmon 25/10/2014
I bought this on a whim and I am also a fan of the Mark's & Spencer's single hop Cascade and Citra bottles, purely market research you understand... Anyway, I am a complete convert to American pale ale styles and this kit does not disappoint. The Citra does not fully come out until at least 3 weeks in the bottle, an early taster feedback from a friend said it tasted like Tanglefoot!? Anyway, a month in and it's a very pleasant drink. I suppose a bigger late hop addition or a dry hop could give it even more kerpoww, if you want, but I think it's well enough balanced as is.
Very minor point - didn't quite hit the gravity, but probably my fault. It would help to have a recommendation on mash ratio and sparge quantity though for us amateurs!
