    Nice Pale Ale

A nice pale ale. Good value for money. Took longer to condition than expected but has slowly improved with age. A refreshing drink probably more suited to the warmer summer days.

    Good resemblance !

    Review by on

Easy to follow recipe, hop procedure had to be followed accurately as the hoppy taste/aroma stands out in the original. Good head retention and similar colour to Tribute. Needed to mature in cornie for four weeks to gain quality. Would probably add finings next time to reduce time taken to clear. Concluding, a very good drink, will brew again. I think only the st Austell yeast and their water profile could get it nearer to the real thing!
