    Easy to use lager yeast
    Review by Kristofon 03/04/2017
I've been homebrewing for about 4 years now, but during that time I have never brewed a lager because I was intimidated by the strict temperature requirements that you read about in any article that talks about brewing lagers. I've read an article that this yeast can work up to 21C, so I decided to give it a go. I used it in a Bohemian Pilsner that I fermented at 17C, the temp I usually use for most ale yeasts. I was a little worried about off-flavors, but the beer came out beautiful, very clean and no off-flavors at all. If you're looking for a lager yeast that's forgiving when it comes to temperature, this is an excellent choice.

    Buy 2 packets
Review by Colin Taylor on 14/08/2016
I bought 1 packet iof this yeast but the pack states for 10 to 15 litres which was a bit annoying. I suppose I could have managed on a single pkt but was for higher alcohol lager. Bought a second pkt elsewhere.
    Did the job very well

    Review by Ianon 10/05/2016
Made a Samuel Adams Boston Lager "clone" using this yeast. Really quick starter and it's fermenting like a good-un at 12C. As mentioned before I used two packs for this brew (27L)

Excellent yeast. Definitely my regular lager yeast
    Review by TimTooson 10/01/2016
Used in a pilsner. Wow. Ive always struggled with getting an authentic lager.
Not sure if its my new kit or cooler weather but this yeast did its stuff and the pilsner turned out amazing.
Glad I got a four packets of this.
Tip: I would use two packets per 25 litre brew.

5-star standard for what we need!
    Review by Brightonon 29/12/2014
Have made all types of beer but personal taste has led us to lager/IPA recipes of our own concoction and this yeast has won every time in giving a good fermentation and maturation. Whatever variety of beer we make the underlying fruity hints of flavour from this yeast round the beer off perfectly: if you subtle fruitiness you'll notice it - if you don't you won't!
