    NOT SURE
    Review by Jonon 31/07/2015
im not sure if something went wrong when i brewed this or i kept it to long before brewing or i just dont like the way it tastes but to me it tastes pretty bad i mean it tastes really yeasty and not much else pretty disappointing this is definitely one of the poorer tasting extract kits i have tried

Big & full of flavour --- perfect for summer
    Review by drbon 25/09/2014
Brewed this June 2014 --- and it's all gone now! Bold, hop-tastic and nicely crisp. I had both Way to Amarillo and Frank as Apollo in stock at the same time -- this was always the best choice for when you were looking for a fuller flavour brew. My favourite for a bigger ale.

Done 4 extract kits previously and this is "up there" with WTA. A strong hoppy, bitter beer and will be doing this one again once back in stock. Did barrel this beer and 2/3 rds through and still quite lively. We'll done BrewUK

Fruity with a nice hoppy bite
    Review by Paul Won 29/05/2014
Very easy to brew this one only being extract and hops but none the less a very tasty ale.

Only a week in the barrel and is clearing nicely, great head retention and a subtle fruity taste. would never guess it came out at 5.6% :)

I'd recommend this recipe, not sure I'll brew it again but only because there are so many other recipes I want to try! :)

    Powerful stuff
    Review by Matton 24/04/2014
Well this one didn't last long. It fermented down to a final 6.7% abv but didn't taste like a particularly strong ale. Quite bitter but in a good way and full of lovely hopiness. The friends who tasted it all wanted more and it would have been very easy to knock back a few bottles before realising that your coordination wasn't what it should have been. Another one to put on my to do again list. Highly recommended, especially if you like the Way to Amarillo or Proper Job kits.

    amazeballs
    Review by Ben_the_yakon 14/03/2014
my 4th extract brew (the others were WTA, darkstar festival and a cascade single hop) and definitely the best so far, only 4 days in the bottle (1 month in FV) and it already tastes gorgeous! Great interesting and clean taste without being overly bitter as some IPAs/APAs can be.

    My favourite
    Review by SiDavison 21/12/2013
Brewed a bunch of extract kits and have been really pleased with how they all came out but this is the pick of the bunch for me. Beautifully hoppy, bursting with flavour, great stuff. If you like Amarillo you'll love this. Doing again as soon as I can.

First extract kit I've and definitely worth trying! A fantastic beer that is not going to last long, about to buy another kit.

    rockin'
    Review by Andy-Hon 22/11/2013
I held a lot of hope for this kit, especially smelling the NS hops. After about a month in the bottle now, its an impressive pint, although far superior served at room temperature rather than chilled. Im going to leave the other half case as long as possible to see if it changes. I will be doing it again, although possibly with a dry hop.

    Ruddy marvellous
    Review by Howardon 16/09/2012
A fruity, strong, rounded ale of wonder. The only issue with this kit, especially if you barrel/bottle and wait 3 months, is that no draft in any local pub satisfies anymore!!

    Fantastic beer
    Review by Robinon 28/07/2012
After a month in the bottle, this beer is delicious, cleared nicely and full of flavour.

If you like the Way to Amarillo extract kit, you'll love this.

    Hoppy, light
    Review by Kaion 29/05/2012
Refreshingly hoppy and tasty, a kind of middle ground between an English IPA and full-blown American Pale Ale. Goes down with ale lovers and lager fans alike. Definitely a keeper, not just because it packs a punch you definitely feel after just a pint!

Went for this after a few canned kits left me disappointed. The difference is massive. This beer is awesome! Great taste, smooth and too easy to drink. Now to choose something else!

    Review by Iestynon 28/02/2012
Loved this beer; mine came out as hoppy, dry, strong, full bodied beer. Flavour mellowed after a few months and now (4 months on) I'm savoring every bottle - very nice.

    Superb
    Review by Toddleson 13/12/2011
Brewed this for a friend's 30th birthday bash, absolutely loved the result. Really clean, fresh and clear after only 3 weeks in the bottles. Citrus flavour comes through from the hops, and the alcohol is apparent in a really good way that I don't always get with homebrew. Unanimous approval from the party. Worried that I've set expectations now!

    Amazing value for money!
    Review by Timmehon 04/10/2011
Not sure how others can say this is not value for money, you're paying for the malt extract, everything else in the kit is free!!
This was my 2nd extract kit and found it more flavorful than the Amarillo which I thought was pretty amazing.
    More kits please!

    Super brew
    Review by whoofmanon 25/06/2011
A positively awesome brew. Superb taste and good strength. Waited a long time to get my hands back on this as the hops were unobtainable for the longest time earlier this year. So now's the time to fill your boots and make what is in my view the best APA thats available. Ridiculously good ale.
