    Pricey but lovely
    Review by Davidon 19/10/2017
Great recipe and at least you know you are getting the right stuff - unlike several other supposed 'clones' online for Punk IPA that have different grain bill and different hops. With this amount of hops though, it's worth investing in a hop spider for the dry hopping. Top end pricing though as has been mentioned below - even with the amount of hops included (when compared to buying them separetly)

Excellent beer but obviously not cheap
    Review by Martinon 21/04/2017
Brewed in my Grainfather and the end result is a flavour-tastic very hoppy but balanced flavour beer. I have had the real thing on draft in Glasgow and also in bottles and it can vary widely. The best I had was the hand pulled version and I'm glad to say this was as good as that. The instructions are a bit vagueI but I managed to hit the right numbers for ABV. I used the on line Brewers Friend IBU calculator to figure out when to add the "half way through boil" hops and decided on last 5 mins rather than the implied 30 mins as I also wanted to retain hop flavour and not to overdo the bitterness. Also I'd read some on line info on other users experiences in making the recipe, which is just the DIYdog PDF one available on line by the way. The only big problem I encountered was with the insane amount of dry hops which absorbed over 2 litres of beer from my fermenter resulting in me netting a mere 18 litres by the time I bottled it. Next time I will use a bag for the dry hops and squeeze it out. Could have weighed it down with marbles too to keep the hops submerged. Note that the yeast is safale US-05 rather than the Wyeast 1056 - American Ale that the recipe quotes.

    Decent but costly AG recipe
    Review by Timtooson 21/02/2017
Brewdog Punk IPA AG kit. Very expensive for what it is but I'm guessing the hops really bump up the price.
Good to try it once but next time Ill just source the ingredients separately

    Awesome
    Review by Garethon 19/10/2016
Made it in my grainfather and it came out awesome, a little cloudy but I think that's due to the way I dry hopped. Tastes really close to the commercial beer.

    Very good kit
    Review by Javieron 19/08/2016
If you buy the ingredients separately, you can brew this one for almost half the price, HOWEVER, take into account that these are BrewDog's hops (that's something you won't find anywhere else) and all the ingredients come in the exact amounts you'll need (so there is no waste). My beer was very close to the original Punk IPA.
