    Dry hopping
    Review by Andrewon 02/05/2017
Worked fine for dry hopping. Decent quality.

Not sure how many brews I will get from them, but they're so cheap it hardly matters.

    Work fine

Have used for steeping grain and dry hopping leaf without any problems. Pellets may seep through

Used for dry hopping so far and contains most of the hops.

    Used for dry hopping
    Review by Tonyon 05/10/2016
Used for dry hopping with no major issues. Will give you a few brews before they start to go, but they're cheap enough for it to not matter that much

    Great for leaf hops
    Review by Helenon 05/10/2016
Worked well work leaf hops. I found when I used pellets they leaked through and would require straining through a finer weave. The don't look super sturdy so not sure how long they will last for,,,,

    Perfect for dry hopping
    Review by Alexon 08/07/2016
I have used these primarily for dry hopping in the FV using dried and pellet hops and never had any problems. I always gave them a quick boil to make sure they were sterile and then chucked in the hops and tied the end. I could easily get 50g in there plus it is a stretchy material anyway.

Not a fine enough weave for some?
    Review by Tomon 20/04/2016
Worked fine for me, but I was expecting a finer weave. Lots of bits from the hops got through, but not a problem for me as filtered later on anyway

    Effective
    Review by Sgt Pilkoon 07/03/2016
I do small batches so had to cut them, even managed to get in and out of the demi-john for dry-hopping. Understand that they do not need sanitizing (I gave a quick boil just in case) can be re-used as well. Tip on the dry-hopping is don't hold, back the more the merrier!

    Great Quality
    Review by Teesside Daveon 05/11/2015
Used for both dry hopping in fermenter once fermentation was complete and also in my Grainfather for hop additions to the boil. Very useful and a good size.

    Cheese bags
    Review by JamesWon 22/09/2015
Not really sure what these would be used for. The fine nylon straining bag was more what I was after. These seemed pretty insubstantial and I didn't use them. Needed to strain every drop of juice out of blackberries, and these looked like they would rip. Also, not Youngs branded, but came loose packed.

at the end of my brew i place my used elderflowers in the bag and let them strain out to get as much flavour as possible a great item

    Not youngs as picture shows
    Review by Jonon 14/07/2015
These muslin bags are not made by youngs as picture shows they come in an unbranded bag but still are not a bad price and do the job nicely

Makes a great bag for hops
    Review by Cornet_Horneton 24/05/2015
I use these to contain my hops when I boil them. It does the job and I've not had any issues.

So much better than using a muslin square, easy to clean too.

    Ideal for holding things together.
    Review by Mechon 22/08/2013
Great for dry hopping to contain them in one place when syphoning the FV. Also great for steeping speciality grains.

    Great range and quick delivery
    Review by Samon 17/04/2013
Great range of products at reasonable prices and quick delivery. This was one of the few places I could find the Timonthy Landlord kit, my dad loved it!

Reasonable quality, but more product info needed
    Review by Johnon 09/01/2013
Bags are of reasonable quality, but it would have been helpful to have known the fineness of the weave. As they are, they were useless for my purpose of boiling the (cracked) grain for an extract brew. Luckily I was able to source some finer muslin elsewhere and get by. Be careful!

    Easy to use
    Review by Tomon 02/10/2012
Simple and effective way to steep grains and hops.
Five stars because they are what they are. Only used mine once and threw them though because cleaning them seems like a real pain, what with all the grains and hops stuck in the fabric.

They are quite coarse though so small bits do get out. You'd have to pour your hop teas etc. through a finer straining bag before you added them to any wort.

    Simple and useful
    Review by Alexon 18/04/2012
Simple muslin bags, not much else to say!

4 Stars because they aren't massively durable, I only re-use each bag 4-5 times, cleaning in my washing machine between uses.
