    Strong, good quality bag
    Review by Jonon 03/09/2015
This is a very strong bag with handy draw string ties for tightening around the top of a stock pot... Be warned it is bigger than expected though so, if like me you have a small stockpot, make sure you have a false bottom or upturned colander for it to rest on (ie so it doesn't touch the bottom and catch). As with all bags it is of course a bar steward to clean.

    Superb bit of kit
    Review by Gazzon 10/12/2013
This is an essential bit of kit when brewing on a budget, I only have one large brew pot and was finding it really hard to sparge and filter all the sediment out of my beer, this bag did the trick brilliantly. I was also able to use it to filter the beer at a later stage too. Well worth the money!

Breaks down the barrier to all-grain, but not 'quite' perfect for BIAB.
    Review by Joshon 26/07/2013
Thanks to this nifty bag I did my first of hopefully many batches of all-grain. I'd highly recommend it since, whether you use a cooler, boiler or brew in a bag method, to conduct your mash, it can be used and arguably is a much more sensible alternative to a manifold.

The bag has a drawstring, just over 30cm diameter, fine mesh sides and a coarser bottom to allow flow during your lauter. This final point is actually my key complaint:
Since the BIAB method involves lifting the grains out your mash rather than carefully siphoning/draining off wort from the grain, the courser bottom actually lets quite a bit of fine debris through. My wort had quite a lot of particulate matter in it and a few grains too, though I expect this'll settle out during fermentation.

Hopefully manufacturers will eventually supply a finer bag more suited to BIAB, but until then this bag more than does the job.

If you do a 'traditional' lauter and use this bag instead of a manifold/false bottom, then the above point won't be a problem.

First BIAB with this bag yesterday. Held the 5ish kg of grain fine and drained nicely.
