    Cider with a head?
    Review by Matthewon 18/08/2017
Not generally a cider drinker, got this for a change. Vrery pleasant stuff, though rather strong for my taste. Cider for grownups! Mature flavours, with an unexpected head?

    Review by Oon 16/08/2016
I liked it. Medium sweet and a bit sour to begin with, but developing into a pleasant toffee like finish.
My wife wasn't very keen, though.

    Would get it again.

Best cider kit out there in my eyes. Little more in price but get what you pay for. Is dry but thats how cider should be. Serve cold. Ive brewed a few times now. Well done muntons

    Patience is a vertue!!
    Review by Goochon 11/03/2013
After seeing a few poor reviews on this, I thought I should give this kit a bump.

I got this kit as a Christmas present and brewed it straight away. Once it had completed I must admit the initial sample was horrible. But I continued to bottle some and cask regardless.

1 month in a opened a bottle and had to chuck as it was still horrible. Almost like eating a dry old apple core!!

However, after 2 months of maturing it is a very very very nice tipple!! The apple flavour and aroma are back and it no longer tastes bittery or dry. It has produced a nice sweet cider at about 6.5% ABV by my calculations.

The cider will not last long now and will be purchasing a kit very soon to ensure I have more cider ready for the summer.

    Poor

Disappointed with this considering the price compared to other kits. Found it tasted way too malty which in my opinion should never be any where near a cider kit. One to avoid.

Makes a nice change from ale
    Review by mpw1992on 18/10/2011
My tipple is real ale but i do like cider so i was pleased to see this kit. It was as simple to make as any other kit and gave good results. I am just being tested for possible wheat intolerance so i may be brewing a lot more cider in future!
