    Prosaic over Mosaic
    Review by Big Alon 01/05/2017
Of around 30 brews to date, this is up there as one of the best. Clean, hoppy and citrussy, I agree with another reviewer on here that it owes something to Punk IPA. Right up my alley. Highly recommended.

    Wow - grapefruit perfection
    Review by Samon 11/04/2017
Ok - this was my first partial grain after a couple of can kits. This blew my socks off, none of that kit 'twang'. I left this in the fv for 2.5 weeks, dry hopped for 5 days.

So I bottled this on Saturday, cracked my first 'taster' on Tuesday. Wonderfully carbonated already!! Cannot wait to see what this is like in 3/4 weeks! Beautifully clear already. If you're thinking hmm... maybe I should go for this kit. Do it, you will have drinkable beer in 4 weeks! Although this will turn amazing after 3/4 weeks.

On the nose, it is very fruity - slight bitterness, but not too harsh. Remember this is a very young beer!! I have only let it ferment for 3 days.

I hope this helps people to decide.

    Excellent IPA
    Review by Hemion 19/03/2017
Surprisingly substantial IPA given low alcohol content (5.5%). Good aroma and nice hoppiness. Extract kit. Used a yeast starter (key in my view). One week primary. One week secondary. Dry hopped for 5 days. Two weeks bottle conditioning. Tastes fresh and ready. Interested to see how it ages (if it lasts that long!).

    Great brew
    Review by Richardon 21/11/2016
Easy extract recipe. Lots of good hop aromas and flavours. Conditioning in barrel at the moment so can't wait to try a few pints. Will go for AG next time.

    Gorgeous
    Review by Neilon 23/10/2016
I held off reviewing this beer to allow it to condition properly, it's now been bottled for nearly 3 months so here goes.
Initially after a few weeks it tasted very nice with unusual tastes, Mosaic hops are fairly difficult to describe, certainly blueberries and to me maybe bubblegum and possibly apple blossom, however now it's been bottled longer it tastes fantastic, so many flavours dance on your tongue, it's a crisp and extremely tasty brew, possibly my best yet and i'm on brew number 10.
Initially I though I might not try this one again as it was so different but now i'm really keen to try the BiaB grain version.
To me this kit is simple to brew and is a real winner.

    Simply excellent
    Review by Chrison 24/06/2016
I tried to resist sampling this beer too soon but after 19 days in the bottle I gave in. In a word, fantastic. This is my favourite brew to date. Very hoppy and right on the mark for my taste (akin to punk ipa). I made this with the liquid yeast but only a back to back test against dry yeast would show if this made a difference or not. I can definitely see me buying this kit again.

    Hop Delight!
    Review by CaySaraon 01/04/2016
This is my 4th extract brew and by far the best. My previous brews have all suffered from poor carbonation, which on reflection was probably due to my error of using too little priming sugar for batch priming. Used the BrewUK calc tool and this time carbonation is spot on. I'm a big fan of hoppy IPA's and this one hits the mark. Clean and refreshing, with a good level of bitterness. Grapefruit flavour is dominant at present, but will likely mellow over time. The huge volume of hops used makes it a great kit to brew - the smell is fantastic!

    Bitter IPA with nice colour
    Review by Mileson 27/03/2016
I enjoyed brewing this one, the smell of Mosaic hops are really distinctive and pack the lovely hoppy smell. It's been in the barrel nearly a month now and has cleared to be a solid pint, much nicer than the bottled beers I've got in the kitchen. A very clean bitter taste that I suspect, like a lot of beers I've done, will keep improving and I'll wish I was more patient as the end of the barrel starts tasting amazing! I was hoping it would be more hoppy to be honest, but these flavours are hiding in the background so might still come through in time. Very nice smell however. Next time I think I would leave the dry hops in for longer like a previous reviewer mentions doing.

    Awesome flavour
    Review by Simonon 17/01/2016
This is my 4th or 5th extract kit and it is amazing. I have previuosly done Proper job and Way to Amarillo amongst others and this is bar far my favourite already. I used the American Ale yeast. It is very hoppy, which I like, not sure if its because I left the hops in until the end of initial fermentation unlike 5 days instructed by the kit.

I will definitely be doing this one again

    Excellent Extract Kit
    Review by Domon 09/12/2015
Great results from this kit. Instructions were simple, and there's a real hop punch to both the flavour and the nose. Early samples after 2 weeks in the bottle were a touch on the bitter side for my personal tastes, but were starting to smooth out a bit by week 3. I'll probably reduce the boil time a little bit next time. If you prefer a smoother, maltier beer, this definitely isn't the kit for you (it is an IPA, after all).

I also definitely got the blueberry aroma from the mosaic hops, too.

    Great Beer
    Review by Gavinon 09/12/2015
Did a small (4.5l) batch of this a few months ago and enjoyed it so much I made up this bigger batch. Bought both the extract kit and an AG pack - ready next week to try them side by side but so far the extract pack is as good as I remember. Very fruity but not overpowering.

Only mistake I made was neglecting the Irish Moss from each brew so it's a bit cloudy which does not affect the flavour at all. Lesson learned for next time.

    Better than Citra
    Review by simonon 30/11/2015
Superb. Ready after 1 week in the bottle. Grapefruit on the nose. I've got another on order

    Very distinctive hop and fruity
    Review by Paulon 01/11/2015
A good bitter IPA, the Mosaic distinctive flavour is also fruity and took a little getting used to but this is a nice beer. Not as in your face as Sitra can be, more flavour and bitterness than Summer Lightning.

    Great IPA
    Review by Vinnyon 22/05/2015
Another great IPA from Brew UK. As said in previous comment hoppy, bitter, and got that citrus flavour to the beer. Barreled my first brew of Mosaic and will do the same on the next one ordered. Well done BrewUK!!!Think this will become one your bestsellers

    Lovely IPA
    Review by William Gardneron 07/05/2015
A lovely refreshing hoppy beer, very bitter and extremely fruity.

Mine has a slight 'yeasty' flavour to it which I've not had with previous IPAs from BrewUk, however it doesn't detract from this being a wonderful tasting IPA. It may be coming from too much sediment in each bottle, but whatever it is I'm sure it's brewer's (my!) error.

The biscuity malt goes with the fruity, citrussy hops perfectly.

    Great Brew
    Review by Peteg67on 05/03/2015
Just popped the first bottle of this, my first extract brew. Have to say after only 7 days in the bottle it tastes amazing. Passionfruit/pineapple on the nose and the fresh hops are really great in the mouth. Can only get better, but I don't think it will last too long!!

My beer is actually still brewing but looks promising.
