    Consistently good
    Review by DavePon 15/05/2018
Bought this after doing a stove topper. It's very straight foward to brew with and gives a good clear wort after mashing and sparge . Lovely full hoppy flavour with floral over tones. Very very drinkable. Will be brewing this again.

    Great kit
    Review by Jameson 15/05/2018
Great kit for a first-time all-grain batch. I tweaked the recipe slightly, as it was estimated to be quite bitter for my liking, so I changed the 60 minute cascade hops to be 15 minutes, and threw all of the Mosaic hops in the whirlpool for 20 minutes & then I added an additional 50g of Cascade pellets as the dry hops. OG and FG was spot on, ABV 5.5%.

My only problem was the hops were leaf, which caused a blockage when transferring from kettle to fermenter as I don't have a filter yet. This isn't specified in the description.

    Tasted very nice!

    Moorish IPA to be Repeated

Beautiful IPA, just the right amount of hops the give you a fruity aftertaste and satisfying mouthfeel. Will be ordering this one again.

Excellent beer a good strong brew.
    Review by Davidon 25/01/2018
I got this as part of a gift. The instructions were good, and I was able to scale down to suit my small fermenter. The fermentation didn't seem to start off at first, but after the recommended time a sample showed the SG to be ok for transfer up my cask. Tapped the beer after 10 days and was really pleased with the result.

My only criticism would be that the kit was not really complete without the yeast which I had to buy separately.

    Otherwise excellent.

    Refreshing Summer Brew
    Review by Alanon 25/06/2017
Just popped open the first bottle from this batch a week into conditioning. This is a really tasty brew and ideal for a hot evening refreshment. I can't see these lasting too long.

    Fantastic IPA kit
    Review by Davidon 24/04/2017
This was my first All Grain kit so I was a little nervous at first. The brew all went fine, good simple instructions which make a lot more sense once you have made it ! Tasted my first bottle after 2 weeks conditioning & I can honestly say it is as good if not better than Brew Dog, Jaipur & all my favourite Hoppy Beers. If you are considering AG brewing just do it, as there is no comparison to a standard beer kit.

    Best IPA I have brewed.
    Review by ANTHONYon 19/12/2016
I used 2 kits in my 50L Braumeister, which produced a very drinkable IPA. I "barrelled" it in Cornelius kegs and also dry hopped it. I certainly will be doing this one again.

    Happiness is hoppines
    Review by Philon 15/11/2016
For those of us that go for strong hoppy flavours, this is the bad boy for you. Quite bitter too so right up my rue. I'm still a Grainfather novice and this was a straight forward brew with clear instructions if you follow the GF formula. Got a West Coast Saison kit but haven't cooked that one yet but Christmas is coming!

    Great Hoppy Taste
    Review by Anthonyon 28/09/2016
Now had 12 days conditioning in bottles and already has a superb IPA hoppy finish. I used my own yeast cultivation from a bottle of Chimay Red and find this provides a very pleasant taste experience. Fermentation was during hot spell so came out at 6.2% ABV>

    A superb hoppy beer
    Review by Alanon 27/07/2016
Just had the first bottle after bottling four weeks ago, I'm always nervous when first testing a new batch, no need to have worried it was one of the best beers I have ever tasted, and certainly the best I have brewed. My next brew will be based around the Nelson Sauvin hops I have just bought but I will certainly be making another batch of this one.

Best beer of this style I've ever made
    Review by Stephenon 28/05/2016
I fermented this wonderful beer at 18°C as recommended in the kit instructions using Safale US-05, and bottled two weeks later, priming with DME syrup. Sampled 1st bottle after three weeks: WOW! I will definitely brew this one again. Tip: dry hop using a hop bag weighed down with your kids' marbles!

    Wonderful Beer
    Review by Johnon 01/03/2016
Wow! I can't over emphasise how gorgeous this IPA is. The few bottles I've given away have had the best feedback ever. I kegged the rest for me! It's so lovely I drink it in half pints and very slowly, best beer I've ever made. 11/10

    Very Drinkable
    Review by forhopssakeon 07/02/2016
I bought this kit as my first Grainfather brew and I wanted to keep things simple. I have it on keg now and is going down a treat. Great fruit aroma and taste with a pleasant bitterness and the most amazing thick creamy head. Probably not going to last long.

    Hophead Heaven
    Review by Peteron 24/01/2016
I'm still a novice at AG and when I first tasted this I was not sure at all, the taste and aroma was almost overpowering, but after four weeks in the keg it has matured to an extent where the taste and aroma have matured to leave my taste buds thinking they have found heaven. This type of beer was never really my favourite, I prefer dark English ales, but I can't stop refilling my glass, definitely to be reordered. Delicious.

    Pretty solid IPA
    Review by Mattyon 29/12/2015
I have made this twice now. First time I messed up, and left fermentation for three weeks, hopiness was there but felt like there was a hole in the middle. The second time was much better, fermented within 7 days, cold crashed for three. Reduced the initial boil by 3 litres, ending up with about 15 ltrs in the keg. Now tastes more like a DIPA. Will buy again and use Chinook hops in the middle and end to give it a real kick.

    Best kit I've bought
    Review by Davidon 11/12/2015
I've made five IPA/Pale Ales from kits such as this from a range of suppliers. This by far and away came out the best. Possibly my technique was better when making this compared to the others but this was perfect. My friends came round expecting 'generic homebrew' and left (keg empty) thinking it was better than anything they had brought with them. Quite a testament. Highly recommend.

    Top hoppy pale ale
Review by Come on you Rookson 06/11/2015
I love this beer. It's exactly the beer style I love - crisp, fresh, light and hoppy. The balance of sweetness, bitterness, hop flavour and aroma is spot on and very drinkable. As recipes go it's pretty straightforward to make with relatively few ingredients and minimal hop additions etc. All of which makes the quality of the end result even more impressive. Good work Brew UK!

    Top notch hoppy citrus beer!
Review by Brighton Bicycle Breweron 22/07/2015
I've been brewing with a few pals, and this was my first solo all grain brew. Whilst it took bloody ages (being an amateur and all), the result I am very pleased with! Added Irish moss and it's a beautiful, clear golden brown, very citrusy n floral on the nose, and packs a real hoppy punch to it. The lads have been thoroughly impressed with my efforts (which in a perverse way is a real shame as they drank most of it rather than leaving it just for me), have just ordered another batch.
