Nice smooth easy to drink and moorish
    Review by Peter Kon 18/03/2017
Pleased to have tried this one, which is a departure from my norm. Enjoyable and easy to make. Very tasty already but will leave to one side to savour during the warmer days.

    Pleasant brew

Now been in my fridge to condition for 13 days and has cleared up nicely. Quite similar to German Weissbier. This has good potential with further conditioning.

    Very nice kit.
    Review by Heathen Breweron 02/07/2016
The kit was bought for me as a Father's Day present. The postage was prompt and well packaged according to the wife. The only concern I had on that front was that the yeast upgrade to Wyeast 2565 had been left unrefrigerated for the entire time of the postage, also there was no notice on the outer box stating that there was live yeast in the package that needed refrigeration immediately! As such it was left in the boot of my wife's car for nearly a week and then hidden in the house for a further 2 weeks without my wife knowing that the yeast needed chilling. That aside the kit is very good value with a hefty amount of malt. The instructions are informative but not very descriptive ( for a novice). The brew mashed well and efficiencies were well up there with the o.g of 1.053. The yeast was pitched and I was convinced it was dead as I made a starter and there was no visible activity but as I was about to repitch some new yeast it started fermenting and then it kept on fermenting!! Finished clean and malty with a nice honey like profile. I am looking forward necking a good few of these down as it is a great alternative to brewing a lager during the summer months.

    Summer Winner
    Review by Robon 08/05/2016
Bottled this today and already its nice and clean with a nice bitterness to finish. Nice straightforward brew, wont need to mess around with low fermentation temps for lagers when I can get this close with an Ale. Just got to wait for it to bottle conditon now-the last bit is always the hardest!!

    Easy step into all grain
    Review by Johnon 05/10/2015
Brewed this Kölsch this weekend, My first all grain brew using the BIAB method. Wasn't sure how successful I'd be as it is my 3rd brew and decided to plunge into AG head first. Sampled one of my friends brew of this and was pleasantly surprised with how good it tasted. Recipe instructions were straight forward, If a little bit lacking. I think these were more aimed at an intermediate brewer. Still, Google helped me with any questions. I hit above the SG, and at my expected volume, I'm pretty happy. It's now happily bubbling away. Will definitely purchase this kit again. Excellent value for money.

    Great "lager" without the faff!
    Review by Darylon 20/07/2015
Just started on these after 2 weeks fermenting, 2 weeks in the bottle in the house, and 2 weeks lagering in the fridge and WOW! Great tasting pseudo-lager, with great clarity. Back to back against a true Kolsch they are on a par!
