    Fantastic Results
    Review by Jezzaon 13/03/2017
Unbelievably good brew using a brew kettle and FastFermenter ! The quality is beyond any home brew I've tasted before.

    Amazing result
    Review by Marksyon 31/01/2017
I've brewed a couple different kits now, and this one is by far the best. There's no real comparison really, as the beer fermented from this is absolutely fantastic. As the other reviewers said, it's the quality you get in the pub. Fruity sweet nose, fresh middle and hoppy tail. I just want to brew beer every day.

    Incredible!
    Review by David Con 01/01/2017
Probably the best beer I've brewed (I've done several now). Incredible aroma and taste! You can tell it's strong, but it's well balanced and not over-powering. But definitely one to be sipped and savoured! Recently also made the Rye PA, and that's great too!

    Fantastic Beer

This will be our 3rd batch. It's easily at the quality of the stuff you get in bars - but that could be our brewing skill too!

    Sublime
    Review by William Gardneron 07/05/2015
My brother brewed this before Christmas 2014, and gave me a few bottles to enjoy.

What an amazing beer, exactly like any DIPA you can in a shop.

Lovely hoppy bitterness, excellent caramel malt, and deep lasting biscuity flavours. Finished with a touch of alcohol (you want that in a DIPA), and citrussy hops.

    Stunning.

Without a word of a lie, absolutely the best pint I have ever brewed. Easily above and beyond pub standard. Highly recommended.

    Craft quality and delicious
    Review by Disequilibrium brewingon 29/03/2014
This is hands down the best beer I've brewed so far. Even after just two weeks of conditioning it tasted amazing. It is good enough that you wouldn't think twice if you were served it in a craft beer pub - but you would order it twice. Fierce citra hop aroma, good level of bitterness and wonderful flavour. Colour and head were good too. Relatively light mouthfeel, but that sits well with the freshness of the citra.hops.

It may be a bit pricier than some other kits since it only produces 14 litres, but you need to compare it properly. A bottle of official Kernel single hop would set you back about £3.50 per 33cl bottle, but this kit comes out at about 80-90p per bottle (depending on your water cost). Bargain plus the joy of doing it yourself.

Only quibble is that I came in somewhere under 7% ABV (and I didn't forget the additional brewing sugar), and even using a recipe calculator (brewersfriend.com) I come up with about 7.5% - well below the 9.5% suggested. Maybe I did something wrong, but the point to remember is that it doesn't really matter - it tastes great regardless.

Incidentally, I used the Wyeast smack pack option and also added yeast nutrients to the boil, and primed with brewing sugar as directed.

Strongly recommend this to any extract brewer and would be a great first attempt at extract because everything is measured out for you.

    AMAZING!!!!
    Review by Lightningon 27/03/2014
I followed the, seemingly, unconventional instructions to the letter.

This is an INSANE!!! "craft brew" recipe. A credit to the original from Kernal, which I also think is amazing.

If you want explosive Citra hop in a real craft brew formula and appreciate recipe more than pennies, try this. You won't be disappointed.
