    Excellent brew
    Review by Anthonyon 05/05/2017
I made this recipe some time ago and forgot to review it. Looking at my brew records I notice I gave 9 out of ten which is praise indeed. So much so I am ordering a new batch.

As good as it gets !
    Review by Nedkellyon 24/03/2017
Just had the first couple of bottles brewed with my grainfather. Awesome tasting brew !
Very similar to the Roughtail brewery Hoptometrist that I had a year or so back on holiday which was the inspiration for trying this.
Added the white labs yeast which I am sure helped , definately one to repeat......a lot !

    BIAB Recommendations
    Review by JSHaworthon 19/03/2017
Just made Kernel Brewery Double Citra IPA using the BIAB method. My OG came out at 1064 and I lost 5 liters to absorption. I added 500g of Medium DME to raise the OG to the recommended amount and am sticking with the 17 litres I have left. I'm a big fan of Kernal and thus far the AG kits I've done from Brew UK using BIAB have hit OG and have had minimal waste. In this case I think the large amount of grain in this recipe needed extra liquid.

    Great IPA
    Review by PAULon 08/12/2016
This brew came out spot on as per the instructions. Used the grainfather brewing system and ss tech 7 gal fermentor. Finished @ 9.5 abv . Ordered two more AG kits to ensure a very merry merry Xmas .great tasting strong brew .
  • Kernel Brewery Double Citra IPA AG Recipe Pack - recommended!
    Review by Julianon 29/06/2014
Took delivery of The Kernel Brewery Double Citra IPA AG Recipe Pack and brewed straight away. I chose the Californian Ale yeast option.
OG was about 1064 and I used bottled Ashbeck water from Tesco as I have very hard water at home. The results seem excellent. Tasting the stuff as I bottled it revealed a beautifully flavoured, extra hoppy and very strong ale. It's a winner with me. I'm a Citra nut and this AG kit is a great way to make a Citra brew of real quality. Recommended!
