    Seems great
    Review by Rickydon 30/10/2017
Only half way through fermentation but already nearly at the Est. FG and a sneaky sample smelt and tasted great. Easy to follow recipe and great ingredients. Loved using the elderflower.

    Brilliant first beer brew
    Review by Eugeneon 18/03/2017
Very pleasant and slightly hoppy beer. 2.5 weeks in the barrel and 2 weeks in the bottle, mixed with 100g sugar surup for ~20liters.
Enjoying so much!:) first beer brewed ever!

    Very pleasant and fragrant
    Review by Colinon 17/08/2016
A very pleasant, light and fragrant beer and as another reviewer says, the elderflower adds a distinct fresh flavour. The beer needs at least two weeks bottle-conditioning to clear and for the taste to mature, then it's a nice golden colour and has a good long lasting head. I will make it again during the summer months.

    Good summer brew
    Review by Willon 31/05/2016
I really like the idea of adding the elderflower to the brew, it defiantly adds a floral note. I've made two batches now and temp controlled the second batch at 19deg with good results. Hasn't carbonated as much as the real deal but I guess that is my fault with the priming sugar (I used the brown crystal sugar). But really good flavour!

    Nice summery ale
    Review by ceej19on 16/08/2015
I'm no expert but the results of this brew were close enough to a retail bottle of summer ale for me. Lovely refreshing quaffing beer. Have had great success with these extract recipe packs.

    NOT SURE
    Review by Jonon 31/07/2015
im not sure if something went wrong when i brewed this or i kept it to long before brewing or i just dont like the way it tastes but to me it tastes pretty bad ill have to buy the commercial version to remind myself of how that tastes but to me this is definitely one of the poorer tasting extract kits

    CRACKING PINT!
    Review by TLon 17/04/2015
Not too close to the Badger equivalent but it's a cracker, just gutted it's all gone.

    Disappointing
    Review by Pantson 29/03/2014
I brewed this 3 weeks ago and have to say how disappointed I am with the taste, it tastes nothing like a Golden Glory and it tastes the same as Coopers APA kit I added some extra hops to a little while ago, in fact the Coopers kit is easier to make and I'll probably stick to making them in future, shame, as I was really looking forward to making one of my favourite beers but it just doesn't hit the mark, for my taste buds I find there's too much tang from the hops.

    nice brew
    Review by eddieon 22/02/2014
The brew has been bottled for 4 weeks, 2 in warm & 2 in the cool.
it is a lovely drink already and is close to summer glow which is my favorite extract brew so far. It would be good slightly chilled in the summer.

    Very satisfying brew
    Review by RoyHon 26/01/2014
Visually I couldn't tell the difference between this and the bottled version but sadly that's where the similarity stops. Nowhere near 'peachy' enough to be considered a close match but having said that it is a full-flavoured brew that I will certainly buy again - might add some peach essence and see how it changes the flavour.

    Crisp and refreshing
    Review by eezygeezeron 18/11/2013
Brewed using the WYeast Activator - my first time using liquid yeast so a little nervous how it would turn out. Need not have worried as very easy. I just removed from the fridge and activated about 3hrs before pitching, no starter. Fermentation was well underway within 12hrs.

For me, his recipe doesnt quite hit the peachy/fruity notes of the off the shelf beer and has a slightly drier finish, but nonetheless it's a great tasting beer and well worth brewing.
Lovely deep golden colour, cleared well and maintains a good white head.
Crisp clean taste, with just a hint of fruit and light hops. Good summer drinking.

    Will brew again

    Just made this last night
    Review by Bisseyon 08/08/2013
Just brewed this last night. Read the instructions, had to change them a bit as my equipment is large. 70 litre kettle.

So i did the grain steep with 12 litres of water instead of 6. Could of used a pan on the hob but that's more washing up!

I also mixed all the 2.5 kg of extract with cold water then added it to the kettle once the steeping was done. Brought it to the boil and added the Fuggles from there it was like any other brew!

Fermenting started around 8 hours 26c. Used Safale 04 yeast.

I will review the end result when we get there!!!

"Dry Extraxt brewing is simple, throw away the TINS!"
