    Good bitter
    Review by Gingerbrewson 24/02/2016
Being a Jocko, had a bit of a concern about brewing a classic London bitter. It wasn't my idea of a great pint but must admit to being completely convinced, this is a really great pint. At present it's only 6 weeks bottled and tastes fantastic, think it may get better

    not blinkin' bad!
    Review by goldilockson 04/11/2013
I had to give my favourite widely-available beer a go. Smooth, sweet and malty up front with the right amount of hoppiness to balance things out, like it should be. A week after bottling and back to back with the real thing, it had that extract, 'tang', but two weeks in, it's much improved, so I'm assuming (and hoping) this trend will continue. It's not as perfect as the ready-made stuff (it lacks the distinct marmalade sharpness for one), but it's still incredibly drinkable all the same. I'd love to try this as an all-grain but don't have the kit or the space unfortunately, although I can see myself having my inaugural bash at a partial-mash with this one. Don't scrimp on the yeast though - go for the Wyeast.

Good but not quite the real thing
    Review by Ton 09/06/2013
This was good at the start and it has got even better with keeping. Its a favourful brew and dangerously quaffable but does not have quite the punch of the real thing.
Enjoyable to drink and better for being left (if you can)
