    Understated.
    Review by Roberton 05/01/2017
Having become used to craft beers of all kinds in recent years it is easy to forget the simple pleasures of a Best Bitter. Not too strong, bitter but not all hops, sweetness still from the malt in the after-taste, the sort of beer you can drink all day.

    Lovely Session Beer
    Review by Richardon 01/02/2016
Just starting my second batch of this having worked my way through the whole range Ive decided its one of my 4 favourite brews from Festival. A lovely summer beer not too strong but a really lovely pint of bitter!

    Lovely quaffable beer !
    Review by Chrison 24/10/2015
It took a little longer to ferment than expected however, following two weeks in the barrel it is ready to drink. Although the ABV is a little lower than it should have been (3.6%) it is remarkably drinkable - smells lovely, a nice hoppy aroma and has a good head. I would definitely brew this again.

Great Kits - A bit bitter for me though
    Review by Martinon 29/09/2015
Festival make great kits with the best ingredients, which include the priming sugar and and the little gauze bag to help trap the sediment when transferring to final fermentation. As with the other Festival kits I have tried they do tend to be quite bitter though. This one was better than some but I think next time I might try leaving half the hops out to see if that helps!

Nice brew and lots of extras in the kit
    Review by Leojezon 17/05/2015
When you open the box you'll be really happy with what it supplied with the hops and even a hop gauze bag. Actually, I use the gauze bag with all of my brews now - a great piece of kit! This is a very hoppy, bitter beer. A little too bitter for me but a great pint overall.

    Lovely Beer
    Review by Richardon 03/02/2015
My second attempt at this beer, the first batch went sour, found the beer to have a lovely bitter taste easily as good as any ale from the pub, I will definitely get another one of these

    Fantastic brew.
    Review by Alexon 27/06/2013
First time trying anything from the Festival stables and what a Moorish pint. Couldn't stop drinking it. Tried it with just the brewing sugar, will have to try it with the spray malt next time. Nice to have everything in it, plus a little more, the gauze bag helped keep a lot of the sediment out.
