    Brilliant Kegs
    Review by Grahamon 02/04/2017
I have a few of these kegs and they are an excellent way to store beer for parties and other functions. So far I have managed to reuse the bungs at least 5 times without the need to replace. Beer keeps fresh for a week or so especially if kept in a cold place. Really speeds up the 'bottling' process!

Love these and will be ordering more soon. Bottles can take time/money to collect. These take a good chunk of your brew out of the bottling equation!

Excellent keg and great packaging option
    Review by Ron 06/10/2016
These kegs are great, after reading the reviews I bought two of them and filled with a weissbier. So easy to fill and prime and take up much less room than bottles. Tapped the first one last weekend and it was really great! Poured well, gave a good amount of head and really tasted like a cask pint. I don't think it suited the weissbier as well as it would other styles as the level of carbonation was less than I would have liked for this style of beer and I prefer the bottled version of the same beer. However, for a English ale, golden ale or IPA style which are more suited for casks, I think they would be amazing and i will be filling these kegs with such a beer in the near future. Fits well in the fridge. Great for parties or camping trips etc and will keep fresh for a few days. Mine has been open 5 days now and it still tastes great but has lost some of the original fizz. I will definitely be buying more of these!

    Review by Adolfoon 13/09/2016
Great keg for parties, filled with 5L of Weissbier and all the guests were amazed! Reccomend to buy plenty of spare bungs, I've reused it 5 times now, no leaks or other porblems.

    Awesome Little Keg
    Review by Jonathanon 21/07/2016
Great little keg - ideal for those BBQ weekends.

When its empty I found that you can pull the red bit off the bung and then push the internal red part into the keg - this makes removing the rubber bung very easy and reusable!

Plus much quicker than bottling 10/12 bottles.

    Easy, keg
    Review by Richardon 23/06/2016
Much easier to sanitise and fill than ten bottles. Only on first use, so no idea how long they'll last - tap seems a little flimsy, but have read in forums that other homebrewers have been through seven uses, no problems. I've ordered more, it's my aim to have a wall of my garage stacked with these. Careful not to scratch them when trying to remove the bung, or they'll be susceptible to rusting. Just a heads up - you can buy exactly the same kegs in a popular supermarket, full of beer, for £15. This does mean drinking beer that isn't your own hand-crafted beauty though, which isn't ideal - but keep it in mind when you're next buying in beer for a party though.

    Good value product.
    Review by Kieronon 09/06/2016
These are great value kegs. Very useful, longest I've kept ale in once started is about a week and still tasted good. Like others say you will need replacement bungs so order some with kegs.

    Big silver bullets
    Review by Homeboy brewerson 17/05/2016
Although nothing beats the sight of your 40 soldiers lined up on parade with their little red berets on , come bottling day in terms of time saved , transport and storability ,conditioning and settlement of sediment these easy kegs are ideal and unlike some reviewers i find if you're careful when removing the rubber bung prior to cleaning they can be used again , and there's no need to be a greedy guts because the beer will still stay fresh and carbonated 2~3 days later.

    Initial impression - good.
    Review by Jonon 24/03/2016
initial sterilising and filling is just as easy doing 1 bottle, except it's equal to 10 bottles.

I imagine cleaning it out afterwards will be tricky, and i believe the air lock bungs at the tops aren't reusable when you take them off, so probably should have bought extra.

Knowing things, like how much to fill it up, takes a bit of research. I watched a fair few youtube vids to make sure i knew what i was doing.

    Ideal, long term conditioning.

I'm finding these more and more useful for long term conditioning of beer styles that require it eg Barley Wines, Imperials and anything high in ABV. Recommend.

Ideal Mini keg for Christmas party
    Review by Philipon 09/12/2015
I bought 5 of these bad boys to see if I could use them as an alterative to barrelling or bottling. They appear to have done the job well, although I think I need to work out the amount of priming sugar to give better carbonation next time. I used 4 half teaspoons of sugar per keg, but found them under carbonated. Looking forward to Christmas.

    Just what I wanted
    Review by Jon Harperon 08/12/2015
Being relatively new to all grain brewing, I have been making small batches of my favourite beers lately, and these are just perfect for the type of beers I like. I sometimes feel that a good English beer is better from a keg than a bottle (just my opinion) but I don't brew enough to fill a "King Keg". Easy kegs are a very good solution.

    Review by Garyon 07/09/2015
Used easy kegs instead of my 25 ltr barrel. Filled with the brewed St. Austell Proper Job extract kit. This means I can enjoy my ale one keg at a time whenever I feel like it.
The Proper Job is amazing by the way!

I already own 8 of these and just ordered another 8 for our mini beer festival! Small, convenient and fit in the fridge... the best bit is NO MORE having to wash out and prep 12+ BOTTLES each time!

Brew UK service 5 stars too!

    Ok but no instructions!
    Review by luke023on 12/06/2015
Seems like a good product but no instructions so not easy to figure it out - especially getting the top part open, I just had to take the whole bung out in the end which wasn't easy in itself.

    A must have
    Review by Stevenon 09/02/2015
These gems will save you time when it comes to bottling. They are easier to store than bottles They also dispense the (fingers crossed) perfect pint and your friends and family will be more than happy to see you when you turn up with a couple of these in hand at the next gathering.

Changed to these for ease of use
    Review by Liamon 23/12/2014
Much better than washing dozens of bottles. 4 kegs does the 20L batch. Same as above, used 20g sugar....I pre-dissolved in a small amount of boiling water.
The kegs do run out of pressure so venting the top is required which will eventually make the beer for off - but if you see one of these kegs in your local Tescos for a brand beer you'll see the same disclaimer...drink in 5 days. No big deal for 5L
Great product. I keep buying more! :-)

    Better on bottling day
    Review by Timon 28/05/2014
Definitely a winner on bottling day.

The plastic bung that comes with it I found really loose - it started bubbling up beer after only a couple of days. Fortunately, the replacement bungs you order separately are much sturdier.

I had problems once I started emptying it, but perhaps it's just me. The first couple of 'pints' were pints of high velocity foam. Once it calmed down, it worked a dream for 2-3 pints, then stopped flowing until I let some air in at the top by pulling on the bung, which leaves me worrying about it going off or stale. I used ~20g sugar per keg.

Aside from that, the only problem is not drinking it all at once!

    Review by Robon 18/07/2012
Less fuss than bottles, cheaper than a cornelius keg. Quick and easy to clean. very robust and solid. Fits neaty in the fridge. Carbonates well with 20g sugar.
