    Great starter kit
    Review by demi-johnon 14/11/2009
If you want make wine at home from fruit and stuff then this little kit is fantastic. Includes everything, even got a recipe book. The only draw back is the waiting time as most country wines take a while to mature but I've tasted my neighbours 2 year old elderberry and its well worth the wait.

You may also want to produce larger quantities which requires larger fermentation vessels.

If you're tempted, then do it
    Review by Michaelon 04/10/2009
this kit is brilliant, and I wish I'd done it years ago. I have blackberrys and crab apples near my house, and have spent a happy six weeks watching airlocks quietly bubbling away in my garage. I now have 20 bottles of basically free plonk sitting in a wine rack waiting for Xmas, and first tastings are very promising. I got so excited that I bought a bigger barrel and now have 5 gallons of apple ticking over whilst the 2 x 5 litre bins have proved great for getting the smaller experiments on the go. The book that comes with this has enough recipes to keep me occupied until 2012 I reckon, and in the meantime, I am about to start working my way through the 6 bottle kits that are on the market. On the subject, I would recommend Youngs definitive Cabernet Sauvignon. It's a doddle to make and tasted incredible. The most fun Ive had in ages.
