Details

Often described as the Ultimate Homebrew Keg. Now in mini form. These kegs are normally used by pubs and restuarants to serve non-alcoholic fizzy drinks. The beer is fully fermented and left to clear in a secondary fermenter. Co2 is then injected back into the beer to make it fizzy rather than naturally through secondary fermentation in the barrel. They are also made of stainless steel and therefore very hard wearing. There are advantages to these barrels, namely they are easier to fit in the fridge, they can be transported as there is no sediment and they can be fitted with bar style taps for home bars. Capacity is less than a standard barrel at 2.5 US Gallons/9.5L (approx). Fitted with Ball Lock connectors.

    Size DOES matter
    Review by Markon 28/11/2016
The baby Cornie keg is just right. It's about half of a normal brewlength, so half your brew can be kegged and the rest bottled. I tend to use the draught beer faster than the bottle and I don't have enough friends for a full sized keg! So 9 litres is just right. The smaller size is also easier to fit into a normal fridge, in my case a single keg kegerator. It also works well in a fairly standard sized esky as a mobile bar using a mobile tap. The baby covers all bases and gives very good flexibility. All fittings are the same as it's bigger brother, so there are no complications.

    Small and perfectly formed
    Review by Geoffon 19/09/2016
Excellent new corny. Half sized keg is really useful for small batches or splitting a batch for different dry hopping tests.

    Excellent bit of kit
    Review by Mikeon 02/08/2016
These cornie kegs are brilliant for home brewing, the smaller one being perfect for chilling in the fridge, and easily portable for carrying to party or picnic etc. Can fit (mostly) in a thermal bag with ice block to keep temperature in the right sort of area. I'm very happy with mine.

    Perfect size, Perfect Condition
    Review by Thomason 28/06/2016
this is exactly what I needed. A Cornelius keg that fits in the limited space I have available. This works exactly the same as its larger brothers but is approx 9-10 litres in size. Arrived in good condition.

Small Keg but of high quality
    Review by Danieleon 26/10/2015
These 10 L keg work well if you're looking for something that can fit in a standard fridge. I can fit two kegs in an old Hotpoint fridge (cheap as chips on second hand market) - it also helps with less weight to be lifted around.
