    Does it for me
    Review by Jayon 13/08/2015
Easy brew with great results and no need for malt extract! Used coopers brew enhancer #1 and it turned out fine after a couple week in the keg.

    Safe as houses
    Review by El Gordoon 15/06/2013
This is a light ale, with very slight bitterness. It doesn't really suit a barrel well, but I re-brewed again, to 20 litres and bottled second time around.

The result was magic. Once again, Coopers trusted reputation shone and the results (35 bottles) were chilled and consumed by age old 'lager boys' at my BBQ.

One drinker declared, ' I wish they sold this in my local. I'd be alll over it' like a bad rash'.

    Enough said.

Not Bad - if a little bland
    Review by Richardon 12/04/2012
Usual Coopers quality this one. Brewed a simple batch with 1Kg Brewing Sugar. Turned out fine after 6-8 weeks in the bottle, little to no hop character though - could do with a helping hand from a hop tea or dry hopping. Perfectly acceptable light easy drinking beer.

Great barreling beer for Lager drinkers.
    Review by sonsieboyon 13/04/2011
Another really good Coopers kit. If you want to stick a 5 gallon barrel in the fridge, and you are a lager drinker, don't be put off by the word bitter. It is pale enough and carbonates well, so to drink, it appears very lager like. I will be making this my everyday beer when I have enough pressure barrels to ensure production outstrips consumption!

    Nice tasting, light beer
    Review by Hammy1801on 20/11/2010
Nice and light, unique and pleasant flavour. Brewed using the Muntons beer enhancer, will be doing this again in the summer as its definitely one for the "Barbie" season

    Very good
    Review by Yorkyon 08/07/2010
I did this one as a summer ale and put it into bottles so it would easily go in the fridge. After about 7 days fermenting, I bottled it (I used sugar for both) and it was clear about 2 weeks later. Started drinking it on a hot day in the garden it was very good - although the flavour got a lot better after about 5 weeks. Only have a couple of litre bottles left now.

Would do this again, excellent summer beer with a mild hoppy taste, a good fizz and a respectable head. Excellent chilled.

    Outstanding summer session ale!
    Review by blackhatchetboyon 10/04/2010
I mostly do extract brewing now but had a can of this lying around from when I first started brewing. Made it when bored one weekend and it's surprisingly good! A nice light refreshing session ale that will be great for summer.
