    Excellent
    Review by Matthewon 12/10/2015
This was the first kit I did after a couple of mediocre attempts a couple of years ago. I used Coopers Malt Extract Light for primary fermentation and Coopers carbonation drops for priming the bottles. I was really pleased with result. Carbonation was spot on but the head was a little weak. Early samples lacked finish (I think it's called) but this improved with a few weeks conditioning.
Bought another kit to try with dry malt extract.

    Best brew so far

Really enjoy drinking this one but be patient. It needs a few weeks in the bottle before drinking.

Another Excellent and simple Coopers product
    Review by travison 09/01/2015
I've brewed a few kits now and I keep going back to the simplicity of Coopers. The European Lager is excellent, so I thought I'd give this a try. I've had the best results for the European lager by adding 1kg of standard granulated sugar and priming with the same. So, I used this method again with this lager. The results were fantastic. I left it for two weeks to fully ferment, racked it and batch primed it with granulated sugar again (20 teaspoons) and after two weeks conditioning and a few days in the fridge, it's really good.
It's not as hoppy as the European kit but the malt profile is more pronounced and even though I used granulated sugar, the body is also good.
I will leave it for a few more weeks and try it again before I decide if this or the European wins a further purchase.

    Very good by extract standards
    Review by Victoron 19/11/2013
I have done a few kits and this one seems a step above the rest. My mission is to get as close to a Czech Pilsner as I can. While a kit will never give you that fresh taste, I am quite impressed with this kit. Pair it up with a can of Coopers Light liquid malt extract rather than one of the dried malt extracts available.

I have only had one taste to date, which is why I have not given it 5 stars.

    Simple, excellent tasting lager
    Review by Pablo_Con 21/03/2013
I brewed this last spring, and summonsing all willpower managed to leave it conditioning for thirteen weeks. Brought a taster in for a few friends one sunny Saturday afternoon, only for the entire batch to go in one day!

    Highly recommended.

    A True Cool Brewed Lager.
    Review by Celloneon 08/11/2012
Just right with the crisp and sweet/bitter taste. I think the kit contains Lager yeast and is happy fermenting at 12 degrees celsius. It still tastes good when brewed at 20. Great base kit for experimentation with hops and grains.

I wish more 'lager' kits were like this.

    Brilliant, quick, cheap lager.
    Review by Hammy 1801on 04/03/2012
I got this as an Xmas pressie and was thinking that this would be an OK session lager. Pleasantly surprised, cleared in next to no time and was ready to drink after three weeks. Did it get better with age?? Cant tell you as it was all gone by week 5!! Definitely in my top 5.
