    Great regulator

Does the job perfectly, no issues at all. You will need a screw driver to adjust the pressure

A big Improvement over welding regulator
    Review by forhopssakeon 03/05/2016
I bought this after my previous regulator wouldn't hold a steady pressure and kept creeping up. First thing I noticed is that it actually reads the pressure in my bottle sensibly rather than constantly sitting at almost empty. The john guest connection is a bonus though I did have trouble getting the 3/8 gas line onto my 2-way manifold but by boiling the end in water I manged to squeeze it on. So far has been working great. Needing to search for a screw driver each time I want to adjust it is a bit annoying but not a huge deal.

The regulator is very good and fit for purpose of force carbonation.

A note... You will need a screwdriver to adjust pressure

    Not a welding regulator!
    Review by Tomon 27/08/2015
Unlike the regulators that so many other suppliers sell, this is intended for use for beverage purposes. As a result the gauges are much more readable when attached to a CO2 bottle - a good portion of the gauge is used unlike those intended for industrial purposes, where a standard CO2 bottle will just barely register. Heartily recommended!

    Good product

Very pleased with this regulator. Does the job on my 6.5kg CO2 cannister and had not problems setting or adjusting pressure for kegs.

Simple 2-gauge regulator with included John Guest connector makes it easy to get your CO2 line up and running.

    Good but no perfect
    Review by Stevenon 05/05/2015
Great service arrived quickly, this is the second one of these I have bought. The only drawback is that the gauge relating to the cylinder pressure has such a large scale that it's difficult to tell when it's running low. Bought the second one to go with a new 5kg cylinder I bought when my 10kg cylinder ran out in the middle of bottling. The output side of the regulator is perfect hence the 4 stars, just need to keep an eye on the other gauge which reads just out of the red when the cylinder is full.

Quality piece of kit, though gauge ranges not very convenient
    Review by Davidon 02/06/2012
This is a well made regular which works well and does the job.

The cylinder gauge is graduated to 400 bar with a green section marked between 200 and 300. However, my standard 5 litre cylinder is supplied pressurised to 50 bar, which I think is normal for pub CO2. This means that a new cylinder shows close to empty! - and only the first 10% or so of the gauge's range is of use.

The same is true of the output (keg-side) gauge which is graduated to 6 bar or 90psi. For good British beer one only wants 4psi or so, and I think even those strange beings who like fizzy larger only require around 10psi - so again only the bottom bit of the gauge is of use.
  • Precision instrument - very high quality
    Review by Charleson 17/05/2012
This daul gauge is perfect for home brewing: especially if force corbonating beer.
