    Really Easy

A bit of a cheat, but this gives me just the level of carbonation I want for a 500ml bottle of pale ale.

    Very easy to use.
    I recommend 1 drop per 0.5 litre.

So much easier and more reliable for bottling, just add one to a pint bottle and you get a gentle carbonation. You need two per pint bottle for lagers

    Never fails
    Review by Joeon 04/07/2016
I use these all the time and I've never had a bad result. I put two in a 500ml plastic bottle and find for the most part, that is just right. With some brews that amount can be a bit 'over kill' but for my taste I don't mind. Chilling the brew can reduce the fizz down to more acceptable levels, or of course, just use one tablet. Makes life so much easier than playing about with spoons full of sugar!

    Always easier than normal sugar
    Review by Kimoon 10/12/2015
Have tried several different combinations of priming sugars and if your looking for something straight this is the best as it is the easiest to use and converts easily enough.

However, they could make them easier to cut as 3g fixed size is not always ideal

    good but not cheap
    Review by Benon 15/10/2015
These make bottling much easier but if I will only use them when I'm feeling lazy as they're pretty expensive for what they are.

These little gems really speed up the bottling process. I use drop of boiling water to sterilise in the bottom of the bottle.

One tab for stouts and bitters.

Two tabs for lagers and wheat beers.

    Absolutely impossible to cock-up.

    Recommended.

    spot on everytime
    Review by Robon 11/03/2015
Ever had too much fizz-or not enough? It won't happen again if you use Coopers Carbonation drops. You get the perfect amount of sugars to give exactly the right amount of "PSSSTT" when you open your bottle

    So easy
    Review by Travipooon 15/05/2014
really easy to use and they work well. I just put them in 500ml bottles and I needed one and a half. They were surprisingly easy to cut in half with a sharp knife.

    Make the whole process easy.
    Review by MBon 28/04/2014
Reasonable level of carbonation with one drop in bitter. Will probably use 1.5 in 500ml of larger.

    OK, but...
    Review by inkybitson 01/01/2014
    Pros -
    easy to use
    relatively cheap

    Cons -
    non sterile, risk of infection
not enough in a packet for 2 batches and too many for 1
not easy to adjust carbonation levels (different bottles, brews etc)

On reflection, it's probably better to mix up and boil a sugar solution and add it to your bottling bucket just prior to bottling. It's sterile, cheap and you get more control over the carbonation.

Very easy to use. As has been said before be careful when splitting them. Great time saver.

    Awesome
    Review by Tomon 21/11/2013
I had about 70 in my packet. Some were broken or disformed but you easily have enough for a 40 pint batch. I've actually added 1 and a half to my 500ml bottles after reading some forums. They are easy to split in half with a sharp kitchen knife... just be careful as I've read some people and lost fingers.... but people can hurt themselves doing anything...

    Time saver!
    Review by Oliveron 20/11/2013
I used these when bottling a Coopers Mexican Cerveza and they saved a lot of time individually priming bottles. My bottles where reused Budweiser bottles (330ml) and so they where a little small for one whole drop making them a little more fizzy than perhaps some would like, but I feel it worked well for my tastes.

Would never use again not impressed at all, the old way of using sugar is the best & well worth the time it takes as the results are much better as is the taste,

    Superb priming sugar for bottles
    Review by Radtooon 24/02/2012
I'll rate this strictly as product meant for bottling.

Since the price is fair and those are as easy to use as one might guess from drops (you just toss one or two into the bottle's mound and done), I happily recommend using these instead of a funnel & sugar & spoon.

Very quick use with reproducible results.

These are brilliant, used in the last couple of brews and no mess, no measuring sugar and no makeshift funnels. Just plop and cap, so easy.
