    First time - Impressed
    Review by Chrison 01/12/2016
So after doing beer kits for a year with great results, I thought I'd give a wine kit a go. Final result is just amazing for something I've made at home. Great fruity nose and flavour with a crisp dry finish and yes better than a lot of £5 bottles in the supermarket. Wife now expects this quality every time.

Well, I think when people comment after drinking this wine I've made saying it's better than shop bought wine, can't get better than that and they come back for more, so got to keep making it :)

    Thumbs Up
    Review by Andrewon 29/06/2012
I haven't had much experience of wine making but I thought that I would give this one a try. The instructions seemed a little complicated (hence the 4* rather than the 5* it probably deserves) so I made the executive decision to track the stages of the fermentation process by counting the days rather than faffing around taking any readings. That said, the first bottle was drunk within a day and was met with much approval. The other 5 bottles didn't last very long either. I would definitely recommend this to white wine drinkers and I have now ordered the 30 bottle kit to try and keep up with demand.

I've been brewing for a few years now, mainly reds,. This Sauvignon Blanc has turned out brilliant. I was amazed at how clear, crisp (and a fair kick too) it tastes.
Will be ordering some more ready for Christmas!

    Surprisingly good
    Review by Richardon 08/03/2011
Got this six-bottle kit to try it out; I remember the old Boots kits and their rather dubious quality and suspicious chemical tang, so didn't want to buy a lot until I could see what these were like.

Suffice it to say I've just bought a 30 bottle kit. It really is amazingly good, better than most of the £5 bottles of white plonk I've been buying from the supermarket. Very little hassle to make too. Highly recommended!

This came out really nicely but again you do need to leave it for a bit to get the full effect. Tastes great chilled with a clean and crisp flavour.

I met brew at the downton cuckoo fair on May 3rd and they had very generously made this as a sample for people to try. I was literally blown away by the crisp clear wine I was tasting. No joke better than shop bought. Really nice informative brewers. I'm converted and have made this myself with great results.
