Excellent and not as unusual as it sounds
    Review by Robinon 31/08/2016
The strawberry taste is subtle. I don;t like Belgian fruit beers so I was worried about this, but i was wrong this is really nice. When you open the malt pack you get a powerful strawberry aroma, and it may make you think the taste will be overpowering. When you pour it the head has a slightly pink tinge. The end product is really good, not sweet, not overtly fruity it is just part of the flavour profile. Highly recommended

    summer strawberry
    Review by Gemmaon 03/10/2015
what i can about this gorgeous refreshing strawberry ale ! yet again bulldog brand comes through with tastey drink i was quite surprised at how much it tasted like fresh summer strawberrys its delicious with hints of zesty lemon and smells like it taste also very easy to brew again which i like i dont like those where you and to do 3 or 4 different ferments and they never seem to be as good as the quick brews . One thing i would say about this if your not big lemon fan the teabag that comes with the kit dont leave it in for the 2 days like it say a day tops i would say just so that lemoniness is more softer . Will be buying again !

    Pleasantly surprised!
    Review by Cargoengon 20/09/2015
    Hi all,
I work in the Merchant Navy, as such this gives me the opportunity to lay down beers for long conditioning times. Just poured a pint of this Strawberry Pale Ale, which I bottled October 2014 (nearly a year ago, wow). Very nice pint, there is a definite pink / rose hue, but it is the aroma which is surprising, a definite strawberry nose. I remember drinking a bottle of this a few months after being bottled and not being too impressed with it, but the aging has definitely added to the character of this beer. On the palate, slight taste of the strawberry, but not too over-powering. Would I buy again, definitely, but to lay down for a long conditioning period as I now know this vastly improves the overall beer.
