    Lacks flavour
    Review by Michaelon 07/07/2016
The beer was quick to brew and perfectly clear. I just think it lacks depth and flavour weather drank new or matured. I guess this is just a matter of taste as I prefer more body to my beer

    Always five star
    Review by Martinon 10/03/2016
It's very hard to dislike anything about this drink. For anyone who remembers Woodforde's 'Great Eastern' which for me was arguably their finest hour (they strangely stopped the kits four or five years past) this was so similar it was hard to know which was which! Thank heavens Brupak still offer this kit up, and for a great price on this site too!
Now, i have to admit to receiving the kit with dented cans which may have occured in transit, but this hasn't dented the taste any. I made to kit instructions but left it to ferment for 2 weeks, which is standard for me and just my choice. I had my 330ml 'taster' bottle last night and followed it up with another 500ml bottle. It really is good, smooth tasting, hoppy without being overpowering, clear, and in this relatively short conditioning time the yeast is compacted quite firmly to the bottom of the bottle meaning less waste. Money well spent, a terrific pint!

    Refershing Golden Ale
    Review by Richardon 23/07/2015
Brewed this with using the statutory 2 weeks frement then into keg for 2 weeks carbonating then off to condition. Left it another 4 weeks before opening her. Very refreshing, perfect for summer. Slightly hazy (which may be a side effect of the warmer temps in my cellar) but a good hop bitterness and goes down well. Has a slightly matly backbone which compliments perfectly. Will do this again, and will defo try others in the range!

    Beautiful pint
    Review by Paulon 13/12/2012
Brewed according to instructions, been in bottle just over a month and it is a lovely pint. Feel proud to have created it. It has subtle tastes rather than an in your face hop explosion which is fine. Have enough of this to last me over Christmas - looks like it will be a merry one.

    Excellent
    Review by RDRDRDon 08/06/2012
At first I didn't think this was going to clear after 15 days in the barrel, but I left it another week, and its fine. Light, but the more I drink it the more I like it, and its got more body than I initially thought. It's subtle and delicate, and of the lighter style brews it's a real gem. I'll definitely be doing this one again.
