We took what was already a really cool product and just made it a lot better for just a little more money. Introducing the Brewmaster Bucket from Ss Brewtech. By popular demand, we've now added a very nice weldless thermowell and LCD thermometer (included). So now you can get good temp readings right off your Bucket without having to drill your own hole or messing around with a stick-on type thermometer, etc. What really sets The Brew Bucket ™ apart from other fermenters are features such as stacking during ferment or the included rotatable racking arm and ball valve spigot assembly. What other fermenter on the market allows you to stack one on top of another even with airlocks plugged into the lids?! As for integrated racking arms on fermenters, have you ever priced those out on competitor conicals?! Oh and did we mention the conical base on this thing?! The Brew Bucket's conical bottom allows trub to settle out nicely in a more concentrated space and has the effect of minimizing the surface area of your beer that is contact with the trub during ferment, which then minimizes “off” flavors in your beer! Brewer’s grade 304 stainless steel construction, integrated racking arm / ball valve assembly, stackable design, and conical bottom …. And now with a weldless thermowell and LCD temp gauge. . That’s an awful lot of fermenter for the money! Buy one of our Brewmaster Buckets ™ and see for yourself.

    Superb piece of kit
    Review by Peter Kon 24/02/2018
Lucky, lucky me; Christmas present from my wife. So easy to clean & sanitise. Love the lid clips, lid gasket and the capability to bottle straight from the tap. Keeping an eye on the fermentation temperature is great and overall size much neater than the old plastic fermenter.
As I said; lucky, lucky me.

    A professional piece of kit!
    Review by Grahamon 18/01/2018
Like many of your reviewers, I was impressed with the build quality of the fermenter - it is well-made from robust metal and has a smooth surface making it easy to clean and sterilise (use StarSan no-rinse steriliser or similar), thus minimising contamination. A nice touch is that spare O-rings and thermometer batteries are supplied as standard.
The well-fitting lid with gasket and provision for a fermentation lock also helps with keeping everything infection-free. (Tip - watch the SS Brewtech You Tube video on how to fit the gasket correctly). Note - as well as being in litres, the graduations on the inside are also in U.S. gallons and not Imperial.
The light-proof quality of stainless steel has an advantage over plastic meaning that there are no problems with the brew becoming "light struck" and producing off flavours.
Transferring the finished brew to a cask is easy using an 8mm silicon rubber tube attached to the tap; the yeast and trub being nicely left in the conical bottom.
It's worth paying extra for the version that comes complete with thermometer as this means that you can keep track of fermentation temperature without disturbing the brew.
I'm waiting for a version of the insulation jacket which has provision for the thermometer - depending on what you're making, keeping the brew at the correct fermentation temperature in the chilly UK is more of a problem than cooling it!
All in all, this is a professional piece of kit that is well worth the cost for the serious home brewer.

    Love it!!!!!
    Review by HoneBrewon 09/10/2017
    Expensive but worth the money.

Only improvement I would suggest would be the internal markings to be stamped on rather than etched.... just so I can use Barkeepers Friend. Tip, use BKF to clean the lid. It's not cleaned/dipped like the main vessel so is in need of a good clean!!!! Great product and fits into my UK larder fridge with no problem. Get the blow off elbow while you're on at it!!!

Excellent quality and ease of use
    Review by Bluntchiselon 25/09/2017
Treated myself to one of these as was sick of aeration and mess from auto-siphons and glass carboys. Lovely piece of kit. Easy to clean and handle, ball valve tap indispensable (excuse the pun) and perfect seal so as to keep the nasties out and co2 in.

The thermowell fits the temp probe from my inkbird perfectly so the actual core temperature of the beer dictates any heating/cooling required in my fermenting chamber. Core temperature was actually 2-3C higher than the external temperature where I would normally tape the probe.

Had been brewing from an old boots plastic bucket, this takes fermentation to a new level, very happy with quality of the product.

    Review by Craigon 07/02/2017
    Highly recommended.

The only thing that concerns me is the external tap, but I take extra care to make sure this gets sanitised before and after use and have had no problems so far.

    great bit of kit
    Review by Frankon 16/01/2017
One has the ability to control the process so much better than with a plastic fermenting bin
It is sealed, the yeast collects so much better in the funnel shaped bottom. Being able to keep a control of the heating and cooling using the temperature probe facility is wonderful
Very compact it is great piece of equipment

    26L Brewmaster Bucket
    Review by Lorraineon 13/01/2017
    Brilliant.
The thermometer is very useful for keeping a eye on the temperature - that remain lovely & constant.
minor drawback - if you're doing a small quantity brew the thermometer isn't covered by the liquid.

    Wonderful
    Review by Johnon 07/01/2017
I received this as a Christmas present and have just bottled my first brew with it. It looks awesome and is well-built. It's easy to clean and and the rotating racking arm works a treat. It's definitely a massive step-up over my old plastic bucket and easier to move around than my large glass demijohns. The only minor negative is that the thermometer is a off my about half a degree. Other than that, it's a truly great piece of kit.

    First Class Product
    Review by Anthonyon 18/12/2016
If you can afford this fermenter go for it. So much better than plastic. Easy to clean and more importantly makes very good beer. I have now completed three brews and notice an improved taste, with no yeasty aftertaste I sometimes had previously.

I have been using the bucket now for 6 batches and I really love it. This the perfect upgrade for any serious home brewer.
Stainless steal is easy to clean. The bucket represent a lot of value for money.

    Great upgrade from plastic fermenters!
    Review by Tomon 27/09/2016
This is a lovely quality brew bucket and so much nicer to use than plastic. The adjustable racking arm makes transferring your beer a breeze and the thermowell attachment will accommodate the probe from an STC-1000 if you're using temp-controlled fermentation, taking a reading from the center of your vessel. I also purchased the blow off tube attachment which is a nice addition. Hard to fault anything really.

    Brilliant
    Review by Jameson 08/09/2016
Well made and finished as well as being designed for purpose.
Just so easy. It took me a while to stop racking off to a secondary vessel - in fact I have two brewbuckets so I could rack from one to the other, which I used to do. (2 weeks primary + 2 weeks secondary) Now I figure that is just one more set of sanitisation duties and infection risk. So I do the whole thing start to finish in the one bucket. (t is also easy to fit into a fridge - which is in my plan!)
Then when it's all over the racking is super simple compared to using an auto syphon - just use some PVC tubing to transfer straight to the keg / bottling bucket.
I ferment on a worktop by a window and I used to leave the secondary vessel outside under a bin liner to prevent light strike and rain ingress. The brewbucket doesn't worry about sun or rain.

I also have a Chronical but never use it because the buckets are so much easier

My only downside is that by opting for the thermowell version I can't stack them inside each other them empty - moral:keep at least one full! They still stack when full / fermenting.

Is it better than my plastic ferm - no - well it blocks light too.
    Is it necessary no
Am I glad I got it Yes, yes , yes!
Expensive it's a lot of money but it is worth it !

Bloomin love it, wish I'd come up with it

    Enhance your brew!
    Review by MATTon 07/09/2016
This fermenter is the best of its type, simple. Plastic is porous and stainless is totally inert so has zero effect on the flavour of your beer, so easy to clean and just a pleasure to use!

    Review by Garethon 02/09/2016
Been using a grainfather ss fermenter for 6 months and decided I needed a second fermenting vessel for doubling production. The brewmaster bucket is worth every penny over the grainfather version. Temperature well great idea and the cone bottom will minimize contact of trub to my beer! Great product, highly recommended.

    Great piece of kit
    Review by Madmasher on 08/08/2016
Purchased two of these as I make small and large batches. They are stackable which is very handy. Bit too small for 23litres with a lively top working yeast but anything approaching 20 litres a blow off tube is recommended just to play safe.

    Great Fermenter - Get One
    Review by greenfatheron 27/07/2016
These are the best fermenters out there, easy to clean and sanitise and easy to transfer to the keg without any trub. I do recommend some 18mm OD silicon tubing to use instead of a bubbler with ales / stouts as fermentation starts insanely fast. Lagers are ok with a bubbler.

The only slight niggle is the version with a thermometer, the thermowell sits directly above the tap so any yeast gets sucked into the tap, other than that you can rack with no sediment at all, much cleaner and reliable than siphoning.
