    Excellent
    Review by Leeon 28/09/2016
I purchased the braumiester about 4 weeks ago. Since then I have brewed 3 times, been new to all grain I found the system very easy and intuitive to use. I choose the 10 ltr over the 20 ltr because of the size and the ability to try different styles of beers. Cleaning the unit is a breeze all done the kitchen sink, the quality of the unit is second to none. If you need tubing to connect to the tap you need 3/8in dia and not 1/2 as listed in the description.
Overall very happy with the braumiester.10 ltr

    Speidel Braumeister 10L - 2015 version
    Review by Grahamon 03/05/2016
Impressive bit of kit. Just the right size for my brewing needs. Slightly quirky English operating instructions but successfully completed first brew without any issues. My only comment on the design is about the power of the heating element and whether it's really man enough for a rolling boil without the lid on. Otherwise, all good!

    Review by Macon 14/09/2015
I've had my braumiester for a couple of weeks now and use it on a weekly basis. Having started with an all grain starter kit a couple of years ago. Decided it was time to upgrade. I only have a small kitchen so the size of the 10 ltr system has its advantages of easily being packed away or left out as a show piece. It has a really nice function of changing the display light colour for anyone who likes there toys. The best function is definitely the all in one mashing process with programable mash steps for protein rest. So far I have reached 80% to 85% efficency where as before with a separate mash tun and sperging I was luck to get 70%. The simplicity of the system is flawless and cleaning it down after use is effortless. If you are looking for a system to dabble with different recipes I would highly recommend this little gem.

    Excellent kitchen sized brewing kit
    Review by Andrewon 17/08/2015
So first things first this is not a cheap piece of equipment. In fact if you have the space I would seriously recommend looking at the 20l model and the short malt pipe. If you do not have the space then this 10l is a fantastic bit of kit. It's a scaled down version of the much larger braumeisters and works in the same way. You program it with the mash temperatures/boil length/hop additions and hit go. When it beeps at you do whatever it says. In about 4-5 hours you will have brewed, pitched and cleaned with a minimal amount of effort.

I've done two brews with it. One was BrewUK's Mosaic IPA halved and the second was GW's Old Peculiar. Efficiency seems to be around the 70% mark though I expect this to increase if I was to sparge with 2l of water (at the moment I'm just returning 2l of wort back through the grain bed). So most recipes you can use by modifying for the smaller volume. The Braumeister can really only handle 2.5kg of grain at most so remember that when designing your brews. If you need a higher OG then reduce the volume you brew with (not tried) or go for a double mash i.e. mash, chill, mash with new grain. Of course though this is going to increase your brewing time significantly.

If you are going to plump for this I'd recommend buying a few things. Put your hops into bags (hops will clog up the tap and pump) or look out for a steel hop spider. Get a wort chiller. Speidel's 10l one chills the wort in about 10 minutes. If you don't buy the cleaning kit make sure you invest some good cleaning chemicals, a nice brush and a pipe cleaner. The tap is 1/2inch so buy some 1/2 inch hose to send the wort directly into a fermenter. Finally the model I was sent comes with a IEC C13 to European plug lead (kettle/monitor cable) so you may need to get a UK version in.

Other than that I am a very happy brewer.
