Excellent day. Lots of great tips for improving my all grain technique plus a delicious ploughmans lunch washed down with some very tasty homebrew.

    Very Nice
    Review by HowdenBreweron 24/10/2013
Made this for Xmas, it tastes very nice after a few weeks in the bottle. I hope i have the patience to save some, but its looking unlikely. Just wish it was a bigger kit.

If i was to do this again I would brew 2 kits for 20l so I have some to save and some to condition for a longer period

    Review by Tappeton 11/08/2013
Being a begginer in brewing thought id try a couple different lagers and beers, this one turned out to be the best , well reccommended to bottle condition, still nice out of the keg, but when its aged in the bottle its a stunning beer ! Superior to many commercaily available ales !

    Great, but can become amazing
    Review by Mattyon 18/02/2012
This is an awesome kit and requires a bit of patience to really appreciate what it can do. I managed to save a couple of bottles over 6 months, and wow do they mature. The fermentation must unfold over some time, as the flvour totally changed. It lost the liquorice overtones then dominate the brew and ended up with massive chocolate flavour. Try to save a few and see what happens!

Like a dog, this should not just be for Christmas
    Review by MJWon 16/01/2012
Having really enjoyed the Weiss Bier kit, I tried this one. It is every bit as good; absolutely delicious. Half way through a pint I would remember that I brewed it myself and enjoy it even more !

    Liquorice Allsort
    Review by The Emmitton 16/01/2012
Made it this Christmas - used brew enhancer instead of sugar in the bottles for the secondary fermentation. A very pleasant hybrid of dark Belgian beer & Dragon Stout I'd say; strong liquorice taste.

made this for xmas pressies and was reluctant to give it away - although it only makes a small quantity this is a fantastic tasting rich ale - gorgeous texture which left you wanting for more. Will definately make this again but in a larger quantity.
