Home brew clubs


Getting together with fellow brewers is not only great fun but can also provide valuable feedback on your beers, helping you to solve problems and generally improve your brewing. There are a growing number of home brew clubs around the country and below are the details of the ones that we are aware of. If you are a member of a club not listed please email info@brewuk.co.uk and we’ll get you added to the list.



BrewUK has always tried to support clubs as much as possible, providing judges and prizes for comps, offering experts for meets as well as offering discounts for physical club members.


If you don’t have a local club then why not start one. We will help promote it via social media as well as listing the club on here.


There are also several home brewing competitions, usually run by local clubs throughout the year. These are great for getting constructive feedback on your beers and you may even win!

Macclesfield homebrew

Macclesfield Homebrew is a meet up group for home brew & beer enthusiasts. We meet on the last Tuesday of every month from 7.30pm at Fiveclouds Tap and Bottle, Macclesfield, Cheshire.



Hertford Home brewers


A group of brewers interested in good beer, competitions and regular meets. See us at Hertford food festival!


Rebel Home brew club


REBEL Homebrew club are the host club for the Welsh National Homebrew Competition.

We are a Cardiff based homebrew club originally founded by the brewers at Tiny Rebel, and whilst they are no longer involved with the club, we still call their Urban Tap House in Cardiff our home.

Chorlton Homebrewers


Based in Chorlton, South Manchester.

We meet at The Font in Chorlton at 8pm on the second Tuesday of each month.



Leyton Homebrewers


Leyton, Leytonstone and surrounding areas. Here's our facebook page and we meet at a local pub on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.








Butcher’s Brew Club based at the Butcher’s Hook micro pub in Bitterne (Southampton) and meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7pm. We welcome brewers and beer enthusiasts, have regular tasting sessions, socials and occasional collaborative brew days with some of our local breweries. We have a members facebook page.




We meet monthly on the 1st Tuesday at various quality pubs to share beers and advice to help each other make great beers.

We also hold special events e.g. yeast education sessions, Clone Wars comp, and off-flavours education night and supported by local breweries.

Anglian Craft Brewers

Our club is the Anglain Craft Brewers, and covers Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, the club meets on the first Saturday of each month on a rotational basis Essex, Norfolk or Suffolk.

There are also monthly mid-week meetings held in Chelmsford/Colchester, Ipswich & Norwich. Details can be found on our club groupspaces or facebook pages.



Midlands Craft Brewers

A friendly and informal group helping each other with brewing. Whether you are just starting out or would like to expand your craft brewing experience you are welcome to join our ranks. Regular meetings and events are held at variety of locations throughout the Midlands.

Scottish Craft Brewers.

We have been running for 20 years next year so we have members with extensive experience and a few new members still learning the ropes.

We meet the last Wednesday of the month at Andrew Usher & Co in Edinburgh and also have various events and competitions throughout the year


The York Craft Ale Exchange Homebrew Club

The York Craft Ale Exchange is a York based Homebrew Club which brings together local homebrewers to share brewing knowledge and experience.

Holding meetings every other month at Brew York Craft Brewery & Tap Room just off Walmgate.

All levels of homebrewer are welcome, simply bring along a bottle of your latest brew for tasting and discussion.

Doncaster Homebrew

Norwich Brewing Club meets on the third Monday of every month from 8pm and welcomes brewers of all skill levels. Each meeting features a talk on a selected topic and we have a Beer of the Month brewing schedule for those who which to take part.

The Aylesbury Brewers

Meetup for home brewers from Aylesbury and beyond - new and experienced brewers welcome!
We share experience, knowledge and beer while having a great time! Sessions will be themed around particular topics and industry speakers will be invited to some sessions to contribute their insights.

Participants should bring one or several bottles of their home brew to share with the other attendees. This will help us learn from each other and improve our brewing.
