    American Threads
    Review by Kevinon 30/05/2017
Great looking product. Whilst the notes state standard garden hose thread fittings this only applies in America. This is why there is an export optional product. The thread type is GHT (garden Hose Thread), however this is further broken down into male and female, MHT and FHT. Searching for 3/4 FHT by 1/2 barb finds what you need.

    Good bye immersion chiller!
    Review by Robon 24/05/2017
First time use. Why didn't I buy this sooner?
Great piece of kit, and so easy to use. Chilled wort down to pitching temp in the time it took to drain the kettle. Must have saved a load of water not to mention time!
I could never get my wort down to lager pitching temps with an immersion chiller, but I can't see this having any problems at all.
Recirculated hot water and PBW with my chugger pump and it's nice and clean for the next batch.

    Excellent product
    Review by Johnon 30/05/2014
Seriously, this does exactly what it says. I have spent a number of years using a copper coil chiller in my boiler and it generally takes about 30 minutes to cool my wort down to 20 degrees. This however... nearly boiling wort out of the boiler, and 20 degree wort into the fermentor - effectively instant. Wow!

    Very impressive performance
    Review by Grahamon 11/04/2012
This is a brilliant piece of kit. Works really well, almost too well, you'll probably have to reduce the rate of water because it chills so effectively. It actually got my wort down from 94 deg c to less than 15 deg c. It came out so chilled I had to heat it up again to pitch the yeast, and it got off to a very slow start!

I only rated 4 stars because getting the water connected is not straight forward. It uses American standards so you can't just use typical UK garden hose connectors. So you have to buy the ones on this site sold as accessories but be warned they are for 19mm hose not 13mm hose which is what most people recognise as ordinary garden hose. Tinkering required.

Other than that it is a great piece of kit. Pricey but quality.
