    Simple and effective
    Review by Royon 09/02/2017
Have this hooked up to the InkBird, also from BrewUK. Great team. FVs over winter have all stayed within 1C of target with this setup.

Working brilliantly in conjunction with my firebird.

    Very good piece of kit
    Review by Johnon 26/03/2016
This is my 2nd one, I've had the other for many years without any problems. I use mine in an unheated part of the building and need an insulating layer around the fermenter especially in the winter. Tesco roll mats are very good for this job.

    A great bit of kit.
    Review by kevinon 09/01/2016
I got this to assist in fermenting wine kits. It's simple, but highly effective. My wine kit was fermented in just 7 days & it was in a room with an ambient temperature of 15*. A must have for any home brew enthusiast.

    Easy to clean heater pad
    Review by Clubrooton 03/09/2015
This is a well made heater pad, with a useful light to let you when the pad is heating. I have plugged it into an STC 1000 along with the fridge to control the temperature of my fridge for chilling or fermenting. Works a treat. The pad is easy to clean for good brewing hygiene.

    Temperature Control
    Review by Michaelon 17/03/2014
This is a good bit of kit which I use in a larder fridge. The Heater Pad and the fridge are operated by a temperature controller to keep the FV or cask at just the right temperature.

Seems to be doing the job
    Review by Ianon 04/07/2013
I bought this on the recommendation of reviews here. My first impression was that it looked a bit cheap for £40. As I am new to all this I can't compare it against belts or going it alone. I have just finished a 6 day fermentation period with it in my garage and assume that it has done it's job. Although it doesn't seem to heat up too much if it works I will be happy enough.

    Get one of these
    Review by Arthuron 11/02/2013
This simple gadget has halved my fermentation time (to what it should be) and the beer reaches its FG every time (without need to reach for the temperature conversion chart).

If you have a cold house or use the garage to brew, get one of these!

They do what they are supposed to do.
    Review by Oggieon 07/01/2013
Better than the belts, wish that I had picked pads in the first place. It was a false ecomony to go for cheaper belts, but you can't really use the belts for secondary fimentation of bottled product.

    Happy days
    Review by Jimon 17/11/2012
I use this with a timer, half hour on, half hour off and it keeps my brew smack on 21-22 Celsius. Really good bit of kit!

    Doing a good job
    Review by Janeon 17/06/2009
Got one of these so we could ferment in the garage. Now the weather has improved this is allowing us to do this with a full 23 litre ferment bin. Good piece of kit.
