    Great fermenter
    Review by Davidon 19/07/2017
Although this product arrived damaged it was quickly replaced by Greg in the brew UK team. Great package deal with the little bottler included.

    Bottling made simpler
    Review by Royon 22/11/2016
Easy to set up and use. Takes longer to bottle compared to a regular syphon but minimises splashing and oxygenation

    Works well
    Review by Johnon 16/11/2016
This bucket works well, only downside is the large volume below the tap that is difficult to drain. The little bottler is very good, easy to use and clean.

    Multi use
    Review by Brynmoron 13/11/2016
It is a bucket with a tap! That much is obvious but with many uses from a FV to a bottler, or even just for sanatizing equipment. The fact you get a little bottler as well in a reduced deal is why i bought it, makes life so simple!

    Extremely useful
    Review by Javieron 26/02/2016
The vessel works fine, the lid seals properly (I tested it for leakage and it was flawless). Now, the real value of this is the little bottler (you get both for less the cost of each individually) and that tool really makes bottling incredibly easy. Love it.

A cost effective, good value piece of equipment.
    Review by Alanon 22/02/2016
Unlike some of the reviews I had no problem with tap leakage at all. As far as the bottler goes it was a pleasure to use. With the FV on the worktop and me on a chair with empty bottles on the left it was simple to fill them and place them on my right for capping. Will I go back to using a syphon again, no thanks.

    Fermenting Bin with tap
    Review by Graham on 02/11/2015
Good product sturdy and well produced easily sealed and used as a second fermenting tub and used for bottling

    Useful addition to kit
    Review by Russellon 12/10/2015
The little bottler really does speed up bottling and reduces spillage. Always got on well with youngs fermentation buckets. 4 stars rather than 5 as some leakage unless tap is tightened really well.

Does exactly what it says on the tin
    Review by DAICon 06/10/2015
It works and was good value in my view. Made bottling a lot easier with greater ability to better control flow to limit oxygen absorption and spillage. All good.

    So easy to use!
    Review by Guyon 05/09/2015
So I just used this bit of kit, how easy!

Sterilise, fill with beer, turn tap, merrily bottle away! 40 more bottles of IPA to enjoy!

One slight gripe, resolved with a bowl, it tends to drip a bit!
    Otherwise great!

Bucket works very well and the little bottler makes bottling really easy.

    BUY IT!!
    Review by dazboon 13/04/2015
This makes bottling so much easier than faffing about with a syphon or turning taps on and off. Cut the time it takes way down too!
  • Very Good
    Review by Roderickon 02/07/2014
I purchased this vessel to add to the one I already have to facilitate easy bottling. It made the whole process a very simple operation compared to the messy siphoning I have done before!
  • Really Pleased
    Review by Savon 17/06/2014
The items are as described. The postage time was superb.

This is the first time i have used bottles for brewing ( also purchased from this site), and I followed the guide to bottling from this site. Easy steps.

Hopefully will have 40 or so bottles of perfect ale.

    Great Delivery Service
    Review by Martinon 29/12/2013
Ordered this combo as a Xmas pressie to myself. Missed the Xmas deadline but the goods still arrived on Xmas Eve!
Looking forward to using it as I also ordered a Simply Beer Pale Ale (which I'm going to pimp up with some Citrussy hop oil).

    Awesome
    Review by Tom Stallardon 21/11/2013
Littler bottler is brilliant as it makes bottling so easy and no mess... well maybe a little drip here and there.

    Highly recommended.

    Leaky but works
    Review by Jimon 21/05/2013
Tap leaks (even with washer on outside) but thankfully didn't loose too much beer. However, little bottler works well and made bottling quick and easy.

    Great Piece of Kit
    Review by Ianon 21/04/2013
This item makes bottling a joy and easy to do on your own, like a previous poster has said the liquid flows better if you only push the pin up half way ,the best bit is the time saving

    Scale is wrong
    Review by Benon 10/03/2013
It didn't occur to me that the calibrated scale on this bucket might be completely wrong. When I topped up to 20 litres I was shocked to find the gravity on my hydrometer way out and thought the bags of malt extract must have been underweight. I had to use brewing sugar to make up the gravity, which will spoil the beer and make it drier with less body.

Later, after rummaging through the forum's FAQ section, I read that failure to recalibrate the fermentation vessel is a common "mistake" that beginners make. So it's my fault apparently.

It would have been helpful if the bin had come with a note warning users that the scale is unreliable.

    Make's bottling a joy
    Review by Andyon 03/12/2012
Bottled 36 pints in under half an hour using this. I did find that the beer flow's faster if you just slightly press the pin half way rather than if you shove the bottle hard all the way. It made it good fun though with only a few drip's which were easy to catch in a bowl.

    Minor tap issues
    Review by Richardon 24/11/2012
The FV is fine and the lid fits well. The instructions don't tell you how to fit the tap - the washer needs to be on the outside for a proper seal. If you use the tap without the little bottler it sprays a bit - I got a wet floor transferring water into a second FV. Also the tap sticks out a little below the FV so you can't put it flat on a surface. Storing it on the floor risks making the tap dirty.

    Wouldn't bottle without it
    Review by Lewison 14/11/2012
After fermenting in a separate bucket, I syphoned into this, then bottled. What a joy it was to bottle using the little bottler. Makes the process easy. I now wouldn't even attempt to bottle without it!

    Time well saved
    Review by TheDoctoron 29/09/2012
Used one of these to ferment and then bottle the pride extract kit.
The addition of the tap and inclusion of the little bottler made it a job one person can do.
So now I can bottle and TheNurse can cap, 40 bottles in about 25 minutes.

    Happy daze... :-)

    Good kit
    Review by Alanon 26/08/2012
I have a new Coopers kit and the end of the bottler keeps falling off. This Youngs kit is much better. Just be careful that for a 23L fermentation (if you're brewing kits), this is a bit small - I had the krausen for one beer "hit the roof" so to speak. Adjusting the recipe down to 21L (by adding less water if it's a kit, or calculating to 21L if you're all grain or extract brewing) seems to solve that.
