hello
i have just found two 23l plastics carbohys in the attic and thought i would start using them as water storage vessels for my home brew ,my question is should i put 1 campden tab in each 23l car bohy or half a tab in each ?

Afternoon. I do one tab in each. Don't even bother crushing these days, just give a swirl round after half an hour or so. Remember to leave uncovered and not to try and use for 24 hours or so

hi stuwilliams why do i have to leave uncovered mate ? do they give a gas off

Think that's what I was told... I don't worry too much though. When I say uncovered, just don't seal them airtight. For instance, I fill My plastic keg up and just leave the top off. Hasn't done me any harm so far...
