Young's Harvest Scottish Ale question?
Hi all
Was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Young's Harvest Scottish Ale. Its been in the bottles now for 20 days and when taste testing a bottle last night it was not all that, really sweet after taste and I suffered a bit of heartburn whilst drinking it. Not sure if I have somehow contaminated the brew as I was uber clean whilst making it or if, as its a budget kit, does it take a while longer to mature?
Cheers
Hammy

Hi Hammy, sorry not tried it myself but yours doesn't sound good. I would leave it alone for a week or so and hope that it improves.

As said before on this forum, a few days can make all the difference, tried a bottle of Young's Scottish Ale last night not expecting much and wow, what a difference from the other night. Nice tasting beer, no nasty after taste and no heartburn. Needless to say a few more bottles were sunk and I went to work today a bit fuzzy round the edges!!!
