Two observations followed by a question...
Ok
Observation 1: Never let your missus choose your beer
Observation 2: Never let your missus taste your beer
Question: How the F&%£ do Badger make their Golden Glory taste of peaches?
I don't like it, beer shouldn't taste of peaches, it's too girly (what would Al Murray think?) but it has intrigued me; no mention of hops or other gear on the label! Now the missus wants me to brew one ... 'c'mon, surely you're good enough after all that practice'.
*cough*

Hi Tony,
I pretty sure its Elderflower that gives it the fruity taste. Along with the Badger fruity yeast. I would try adding some the secondary fermentation.
I think its English hops, Fuggles and Challenger and I would guess to around 25 IBU with not too much late additions as the Elderflower takes over flavour wise.

Ahh....
just seen this on their website:
'A refreshing premium ale subtly flavoured with extract of peach. An award-winning 4.5% ABV premium ale, well balanced with distinctive bitterness and a delicate floral peach and melon aroma.'
Now I know.... but, it remains one of the (very) few beers I have ever tipped down the drain. I managed about half a pint. I can still taste it nearly 24 hours later (subtle indeed!). The missus liked it though and I promised to make her an anniversary brew (anything to get in another brewday).. so I may well be researching a clone :o)
I do like the idea of the elderflowers though Greg ... may use that as a substitution!
