"Triple Filtered"
Hi all
While waiting for my latest brews to condition I have been sampling the bottled ale in the local supermarket. Been noticing beers stating Triple Filtered.
I think I believe the science behind filtering and why it is done but I was wondering if this could be done to Home Brew and if anyone does it what results are achieved.
Planning - Single Hop Pale Ale.
Fermenting - Coopers Canadian Blonde
Conditioning - Coopers Pilsner, Coopers English Bitter
Drinking - None

You can filter home brew with successful results but personally can't see the point.
Commercial beers are filtered as they deem the beer will keep longer but I'm not sure if does anything for the taste.
You will also not be able to naturally carbonate it as there won't be enough yeast left to ferment.
