Tactical Nuclear Penguin
Has anyone tried Brewdogs Tactical Nuclear Penguin? At 32% abv i would imagine it's like drinking paint stripper and cannot be all that nice.
What about their other brews? I've tried Punk IPA and it's not too bad. But wondering whether to try any of their others?

It's the worlds strongest beer. It costs £32 for a 330ml bottle and they serve it only in whisky tumblers apparently.
The amount of ingredients and time that has gone into that must be huge!
I am sure they were on Oz & James drink to Britain programme? Although don't quote me on that one.

I haven't tried that one but I've tried the Lager and Punk IPA. Both are nice. Punk IPA is strangely addictive and very bitter. They are the only 2 I've seen in the shops round these parts. Kaos Theory are mean't be be really nice so I would grab any you see.

I just read up about their 1.1% "nanny state" beer.
These guys are great! Did you know you can buy shares in brewdog! 20% off orders and tickeks to their AGM's. Man that would be great.

1.1% Nanny State beer...
Brilliant... they go from ridiculously strong to the stupidly weak. I will have to have a look on their website and see what is going on.
I am sure TESCO do more than Punk IPA.. i'll have a look tomorrow and see. Although again don't quote me on that one.

Does make you wonder if these are simple marketing ploys as they are both (the owners) from marketing backgrounds and its getting them loads of publicity.
Good to see a company doing something different and going against the grain.

Trouble is with the current government seemingly hell bent of getting shot of booze altogether a bit of fun publicity is a good thing.
If things carry on it'll be like America during Prohibition.

I don't think it'll ever get that bad.
The government has to be seen to be doing something about the "problem" drinking Britain is now afflicted with.
Although it seems to be the same in almost every country I've been to.
Hell, I even managed to get drunk on moonshine when I was in Iran, and alcohol isn't even legal there!
I'm sure There was a point I was trying to make. Hang on!!!
Maybe I have a drinking problem........

Drinking not enough has to be classed as an problem also!
The government wouldent ever ban beer. It makes em too much money.

Hey ... here's an interesting little exercise. Fire up BeerSmith and try to come up with a decent recipe that comes out at 1.1%
:o)

There cannot be such a thing as a decent recipe that greats a 1.1% beer. Surely not worth making? It would be like Budweiser which you can actually drink to sober up.
