1 year ago | kilconlea (Member)

Bottled up my first extract attempt this week.

Bit concerned though that the beer was too crystal clear (it was very clear) and that there may be no yeast present to condition with the 1/4 teaspoon of sugar added, is this a possibility? Or is there always some yeast left no matter how clear the beer is?

Fermenting; Golden Lager, St Peters Golden
Conditioning; Diabolo, TTL

Drinking; Headcracker, Pinot Grigio, WTA

You will be fine mate. I did a lager once, 2 weeks in primary, 1 week in secondary then lagered for 3 weeks before bottling and after about 2 weeks warm conditioning out she popped!

Drinkin' - nowt, it's all gone
