VarnishSuggestions please

Mr Tax man has seen fit to give me back some of the money he took from me last year.

So, being flush for once I'm gonna do a brew. A double brew actually.
I want to use the hops I grew in a single malt pale, but I'd like to do something else as well.

So maybe a cream ale, a stout, a bitter, an IPA, an IIPA, another pale, a steam, a wheat, a larger, a dark larger, a dark IPA, maybe even a silly 20% brew.

What do we think guys?

Dark lager gets my vote. Or a raspberry lager stout IPA.

Maybe I should do a single brew and invest in some temperature control gear......

Good for you Varnish ... I'd go with what Greg says, buy yourself some nice new kit... or ...

How about a Russian Imperial Stout. I think three-quarters of the world's favourite beers are stouts and the RIS comes somewhere near the top. Maybe with the addition of a little orange? An ORIS

I'm planning on doing a weaker version for my Christmas brew at the weekend! One month in the making rather than 6 months!

Beer will get you through the times of no money better than money will get you through the times of no beer

    I'm not sure guys.
I have some other projects that will take priority over new brewing equipment.
Namely the Fiesta that's been sat in the garage for two years. It only needs new brakes, suspension, engine, wheels, tyres, electrics and drive shafts.

I think what I'll do is buy a sack of pale malt, and do a couple of pales.
I've got a freezer full of hops and still have some crystal and chocolate malts left over from other brews.
