I'm looking at doing an extract kit next and the use of a boiler is required. Do you need to steralize a boiler or does the boiling take care of all the 'nasties'.

Planning- way to Amarrilo
Fermenting- Black Country Mild. Wurzels Orange Wine
Conditioning-
Drinking- Milestones Crusador

    Hi Mike
A good, thorough clean should be fine as long as your wort reaches a good rolling boil for more than 5 minutes.

If I use a pot that I haven't used for a while (or used for something else - ie curry ), I'll run a water boil through it first, just to be sure!

Should be ok though providing its clean. What's it made of?

Nice! Yeah you're ok, no sterilisation needed in advance providing you bring it to the boil for a while

    Good luck with the brew!
