Just wondering whether anyone has tried it and what did you think of it?

Ooo err Greg .. as the actress said to the bishop and his finger :o)
Never heard of it either - although I'd be happy to give it a go as one of the oldest breweries and one that doesn't belong to Greene King!

Apparently it's to encourage the younger generation to drink ale. Well that's according an old Camra magazine i dug out this morning any way.
Tony i can't believe you swore on this board. Gr**ne K**g is not mentioned around East Anglia if we can help it as they have the monopoly around here. Bit like Watneys used to have in the 70's not that was old enough to drink either.

I know, I know but I can't help liking Abbot I'm afraid. I know who they are and what they've done and frankly, I'd be happy if they went out of business.
Oh and talking of Watneys, I'll always remember Red Barrel fondly. I saw a Double Diamond recipe in BBLTYB (I think), I'm tempted to give it a go? That was Ind Coope/Allied .. another one which was swallowed up by calsberg :o(
